I guess we'll see Russian BBs first (my guess). Exeter and London are fun cruiser killers in mid-tiers, and probably would make good HE spammers in higher tiers - kinda like the IJN CAs, but with smokes. The 200s are great guns both on HE and AP - the HE superstructure full pens against lighter-armoured BBs make me think you could use AP for that as well.

@@FunandGameswithTerry it's kinda hilarious that we get Russian battleships before Italian battleships, considering the Italian navy was actually the 4th biggest navy in the world at the start of WW2. All the glorious Soviet navy "achieved" was sinking some ships crowded with German refugees fleeing from the glorious red army

she's not in a crate, you get that ship for purchasing the blitz pass for October. The cheaper version (without the camo) was about 15 AU$, so with the resources included (given that I actually have time to play this month), I figured I'd go for it on my private account.

Yeah, servers are probably restarting atm. I was in the middle of recording :) Smokes can be very useful to cover turns, where you'd otherwise be vulnerable.

@@FunandGameswithTerry A question... Have you ever had to use their in-game support form, and did you actually get a response? About a month ago I sent an in-game support form about ship mission awards I was NOT receiving. There had been at least a few instances where I didn't notice any increase in my XP supply after receiving a ship mission award that was supposed to pay XP + silver. Then I decided to specifically note my XP supply before clicking to receive the next ship mission. So I completed the Gascogne mission(approx 12.5k XP + 75k silver) and a different ship mission that paid 7.5k XP + 50k silver(approx) on the same day, and i monitored my XP supply, which did NOT increase after accepting those awards. So I sent a support form through WOWSB game support system with all relevant info(player number and name, screen shots of the completed missions). After a week I'd heard nothing, so I sent the same form a 2nd time, but it's now been over a month, and I've heard nothing. I'm sure there were earlier ship missions where I was cheated out of XP and probably silver as well. But unfortunately I didn't specifically record the before/after supply totals to verify them.

I haven't used that before, but it should work... do you get a confirmation e-mail or something?

Roma, definitely. I've got Roma, and when you're angled, oh boy you are practically invincible. Her guns are like lasers and her consumables are insanely good when used right.

Do you not have any other t8 BBs or just specifically want Roma? Not saying this is your case but DO NOT go buy a t8 just to have it, you will get abused in battles. Best to work your way up to that tier.

Add in the premium account. Yah, I know you can play for free if you want. And I do for the most part. The only premium ships I have are the Dreadnought, the Valkyrie, the Acasta and the London. And only because of the Blitz pass. The bad thing about the Biltz pass is the high tier players who just love to go clubbing baby seals. I'd be willing to bet most of them are playing on PCs running an Android emulator. For the rest of us playing on tablets and phones it creates a problem. If using touch controls it's a pain because frankly most times your left thumb is really too big to activate the helm. Most of the time when playing Blitz I use the steer option. If I'm turning away I can just swing th he helm over and concentrate on something else for a couple of seconds. Plus I'm usually playing one handed holding on to the device and controlling with a stylus. Maybe I should try two styluses.

I've personally never played on PC. I'm currently on an LG G7, which is probably about a 6'' screen, on touch controls. I've tried playing on my son's 10'' tablet, and it's already messing with my muscle memory - can't even imagine what PC would be like. I know streamers often play on bluestack. As for the sealclubbing, also take the time of month into account. You often see experienced players in lower-tier games at the beginning, when the leagues have reset. Might be in part due to the matchmaking, idk if it takes league into account, but usually towards the second week, when most heavyweights have reached legend, it gets a little quieter around mid-tier. Of course, there are, and always will be, sealclubbers... not much we can do about it, I'm afraid :)

Steer control? Is that a new option, or have I just never seen it? I generally use all speeds available, since I tend not to stay zoomed in, but keep my eyes on my surroundings.
