These are some older battles, from the time the German battlecruisers came out, and I will neither confirm nor deny that the red wine had something to do with my slight confusion at that time.

Andrea Doria is very fun to play as a brawler. I was kind of playing mine like that as well. Man those games were amazing, I haven't played my Andrea Doria in a very long time, I'm still grinding for my Vittorio Veneto and ultimately Colombo. I have to say, its fun playing this line because DD players know what you can do to them (unless these are on low HP or you have the torpedo range to strike them at long range and they don't know their ASWD.

Terry you were not drunk, that's was perfect Andrea Doria gameplay even though you dont expect it to be. I love this ship, for some reason the guns feel very accurate for me, they have fast shells, the SAP is AMAZING, the AP is also very good when needed, it's fast and it can brawl. It's a perfect ship for it's tier where you mostly have to fear yolo destroyers which this things is basically built for. I play mine mostly as a DD hunter at the start of the game and it's always so much fun. I almost never use AP with it unless I'm fighting only battleships or playing at very long range and the SAP can also hold it's own against battleships of this tier when playing at close range because you can just go blap into their bow or stern and do at least 5k/salvo. Cant wait for your review of this amazing ship!

The German battlecruisers are good but when half of your teammates die three minutes into the game, there's only so much carrying you can do. With the Derfflinger I've gotten a lot of Battle Stars while on the losing team. I've been playing the Andrea Doria lately because I find SAP shells are for a mission to damage X number of modules and have encountered the same problem. Two minutes left in the battle and it's me and a bot vs five bad guys.

I enjoyed your comment.i have the same happening to me with Derfflinger aswell.i get the battlestar,but still get the loss,everyone dies with two minutes left.The Derfflinger is a nice ship at that tier.wish she had a historical camo.but some ships do and some dont.kongo should out of all them.but nice post I know all to well what ur saying had to laugh.

🤔 So, you use wine to make your homemade chili? Is it a significant improvement in flavor? I'd never thought of that, although I do recommend using a can or bottle of beer for homemade beef stew stock. 👉 I've had my own "special ingredient" since about 1990, when I learned it from an older, more complicated recipe for traditional southern "Brunswick stew". It called for beef, chicken, AND pork, along with a bunch of vegetables in a tomato based sauce. But it also called for sugar, which surprised me. Since then, sugar has become my special ingredient. I discovered that a little sugar makes MOST tomato based soups & stews better, by mellowing out the acidity of the broth. But sugar also improves the flavor of many other food items. I even sprinkle a little on my eggs, bacon and hash browns(or grits), and it's a significant improvement there too. Always be careful not to add too much sugar though.

Ha, that's interesting - two teaspoons of sugar is my secret ingredients for a pot of Chili con Carne as well. I start out with searing onions and mince, then deglaze that with a half-cup of red before throwing the tomatoes in. It might seem minor, but it makes a huge difference - people generally recommend using cheap wine for cooking, but I find that it just tastes better with something decent. That, and I get to drink the rest of the bottle, since I'm the only one in the family who drinks anyway. The sugar polishes off the sourness of the tomatoes, especially if I have to use the local ones. I generally prefer Italian.

Andrea Doria is basically a tier 6 Colombo or pretty much the full line is a Colombo... My grind on this line only took me 3 weeks.. with the help of boosters love this ship!

That ship is great. When there was this wg Event with respawn i got tons of the setting outsidenthe cap and sniping dds with AP. Kinda frustating to watch

i hv the mackensen, played about 35 battles on her with a 86% win rate and 60k avg damage lmao. Even the 60% mvp rate is highest among my tier 6

I keep dying in the Nurnberg early in every battle. Some tips?

Stay on range. Nürnberg is very accurate. You can still push later. Dont show much broadside. Its hard with the turret setup. Stay away from direct engagements with battleships. They hurt you. Go for cruisers and dds. Keep moving. Dodge and make yourself a hard target. Use propulsion in the second and rudder in the third slot. Practise. Nürnberg is difficult but rewarding. One of the best t6 cruisers. Sorry for this weird sentence chain.

Remember that your armor is squishy, but your firepower also tremendous. identify ship that you can overwhelm (DD and some cruiser) and what can overwhelmed you. Then you take measure how to deal with it

Do what you can to avoid being the first spotted. When you take fire duck behind cover or disengage. It helps that 2 3rds of your firepower is stern facing.

Get to the next tier, the nurnburg is a glass citadel. It's a good ship, but just gets hammered.

The Nurnberg is a great ship. IMO she is a C.L. = light cruiser gun boat. The historical camo is a must have to get the extra distance on your torpedo range. This allows you to take on captains with low experience in their bb's. Her main role is dd hunting which she is great at her guns are her primary weapon and her torps are more of a area denial tool to try and stop dd's running away from you. She has no smoke so stay close to islands or other ships that do have smoke.
