Hey that Shimakaze on the red team looks familiar... I would normally apologize for sinking all your ships but they where sitting in smoke or sailing broad side to a Shima while forgetting the rudder... I had RPF and was so pissed that the two knuckleheads managed throw the game. I managed to get around to the A cap just in time to be of no help. A 1v1+1+1 is definitely not the same as a 1v3. Sadly I don't have the replay from that game, I didn’t get the memo about the 7.11 update cycling the last 30 replays. Well played SpicyToast, nice torpedo beats

What I loved was how supportive his team was in the end. Like, there was at least one guy saying "If you feel like fighting instead of running, go for it!" which is awesome. Sure, they'd probably have lost if he had done that, but valuing people having fun over people winning the videogame is important imho.

I would have died laughing if the video actually did end after the first battle at like 2 minutes and the whole rest of the vid was just black silence. 🤣🤣🤣 I wouldn't put it past the salt mine overlord. Would have been epic.

Hey Jingles, I live in New Orleans and the funny thing is we pronounce it a different way. The city is referred to as “New Or-Lins”, the city is located in “Or-Leans” parish. Same word but different sounds based on use. Love your stuff, keep it up!

Correction on the twitch crates jingles, They don't take a while to make it to you. Per every hour watch, your account rolls the dice. Either you get a crate or you don't. I got 1 crate for watching 12-14 hours of livestream(5 actual, 7-9 in background) but I got 3 crates for watching 3 hours 2 days after. The next day I got 2 crates for watching 7 hours. It's as WG's fashion, luck based.

I like how the last official video of the year leaves us with the important lesson of knowing when to strategically disengage. I.E. turning around and running away. You know for a man who lives across the pond you’ve been to quite a few places within the US. I’m a Tennessee man, and I know you’ve talked about TN before. I once had to do this in my ARP Takao when I was alone against a Montana, Amagi (IIRC), Khabarovsk, and some other tier 8 that I can't remember, minus the sinking. I just ran like a coward, though I did do a cheeky "Hi, I'm over here." To the Montana just as the timer ran out, getting some last second damage in and scoring the solo warrior achievement.

My first-ever Solo Warrior made running away a bit more difficult because I was in an Izumo. Can't exactly outrun much in that and can't hide very well either. Fortunately there was so little time left that only one of their ships even caught sight of me for long enough to shoot anything.

U.S. resident checking in; I’m from Michigan (the mitten shaped peninsula near the top), and we have a city called Detroit. The proper French pronunciation is day-twa (crude KZfaq hooked on phonics spelling). But we American pronounce it how it’s spelled. Because reasons.

It's those darned frogs' fault they put all these letters they never intend to pronounce in their words, with their eaux's and their ais's. Joking aside, are there any languages aside from French (and English, but they got it _from_ the French) that have extraneous letters in their words? I'm only familiar with the western European languages and Japanese (which can shorten characters - "shi" can be pronounced "sh" - but it's done for speed rather than an inherent part of the language).

Now that I've find a way to watch jingle's videos at work, I seem to appreciate them even more ;) Warning : this pratice is not encouraged. It could get you into trouble with your boss. But if you want my advice, buy a pair of bluetooth earphone and you can make it work, providing nobody can see your screen. Although I almost got caught today, as my earphones suddenly went off (dead battery), and my computer started emitting the sound of middle age man laughing ^^

Admiral, thanks for the discussion on New Orleans (aka NOLA), Baton Rouge (with LSU) and SALEM - lots of goodness there. I am an LSU Grad, retired Navy, with deep roots in NOLA. If you ever make it down to NOLA, you've got some tours to take. Baton Rouge with USS KIDD is a little more than an hour's drive west. Mobile (Mo - beal) Alabama is about a 2 hour drive east and has USS ALABAMA and USS DRUM. As for SALEM, love that ship and had a chance to step aboard her in September while in Boston for a wedding. I strongly recommend the 25% coupon for ships in Arsenal for it and it saves you almost 60K in coal. All the best.

Hey Jingles, yes I'm late to this video by only 2 years but I notice you said you have been to Baton Rouge, La! I'm from south Mississippi which isn't that far from New Orleans or Baton Rouge. I'm sure you enjoyed all the great food that South has to offer lol. I spent about 12 years in the US army and have past through the UK a few times, but in 2009 me and few buddies went on vacation to Prague. I really enjoyed it and it was a beautiful city!

Where can I hand in a formal complaint that the mighty Gnome overlod puts Salem and Des Moines on the same shelf? The ships have so fundamentally different roles, they are not comparable. Des Moines: team support Salem: squad sideline operations
