That's one of the better-played games of WoWs I've seen in awhile. It wasn't a feeding frenzy, it was just obvious skill and thoughtful approach from start to finish. Absolutely stellar job!!

5:37 Unlike real life, WoWs' submarine system is more supportive of the "fleet submarine" concept, where the sub is supposed to provide intel and screen the friendly fleet against enemy assaults

@@johnfrancisterne1072 Yeah, but a bunch of intel, which - in real life - would beed plain text and/or data transmission, is just displayed by the game. In real life your gunners don't actually suddenly see a ship just because the sub sees it - it takes a real time communication link to do that.

@@QemeH and that's exactly why the fleet submarine concept works in-game, because communication is instant and the position and heading of the enemy ship is accurately displayed for you to begin targeting. The fleet submarine concept requires a submarine with the speed and firepower needed to operate as part of a fleet, whether to screen the fleet or to flank an enemy fleet unit. But that concept was always hampered by a lack of something similar to a modern data link system like we have in game Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to sound smart or anything like that, I'm just geeking out over what I've noticed

That's because real-life submarines were constrained by hydrodynamics, and nothing built during WW2 could get even close to the speeds that Wargaming has gifted them with.

Not exactly what's happening is that carrier planes won't spot anyone when they are travelling so for a carrier to find an enemy ship it will need to be spotted by an allied ship first. Once the carriers planes start an attack run then any enemy ship within 4km of the planes will be spotted.

Not here to say "you got this" but will give you encouragement. It is often the small things that you rely on in these moments. For me, I binged your videos, many I rewatched, and I looked forward to your new daily videos when laying in the hospital with a neutropenic fever post-chemo. Some take-it-or-leave advice, don't internalize. Offload your thoughts to others you trust to listen. Write them out if it helps. Anyhow, enough of that. Love your stuff.
