Giants Live STRONGMAN

Giants Live STRONGMAN

4 жыл бұрын

500 kilograms, a Half Tonne, over 1100lbs. Enjoy the Giants Live roaming camera - an unedited single shot of the greatest lift in history.
Eddie “The Beast” Hall promised a 500kg lift after breaking the WR in Leeds in 2015 pulling just 463kg that day to be the best ever at that point. Move forward 12 months and the Beast and Jerry Pritchet as well as Benni Magnusson all did 465kg at the Giants Live contest. What weight do they go for next - Eddie Hall called for 500kg and the others agreed. Hall in the end was the only one of the three to finish the lift off and make history as the first halftone weightlifter. At that point in time there were only three men over 1000lbs and jerry Pritchett became the fourth over the 1000lbs mark.
Eddie had promised the lift would go up, but many thought it no more than hyope by Hall and Giants Live who staged the contest and got in a record 11,000 strong crowd at the First Direct Arena.
The 2016 World Deadlift Championships were certainly memorable as Hall did the famous 500kg and collapsed. The other two men in the running got the weight off of the floor but couldn’t finish it off - in Pritchett’s case it was a hamstring injury.
Now both return to try and take that crown of Work;d’s Greatest deadlifted off of Hall and do the 501kg.
There are 15 men who will try and take Hall’s WR in Wembley on July 6th, 2019.
Giantsd Live have stated that this may be the last edition of the WDC at the SSE Arena. The Giants Live contest that features the return of the WDC - World Deadlift Championships - features 4 other strongman events and the line up includes WSM Martins Licis too.

i mean, definitely the most weight any human ever lifted. probably any human ancestor even. of course we didnt have bars in the past, but i cant think of an instance of needing to lift half a metric ton at some point in our evolutionary timeline... definitely wouldn't have had the training and bodymass/muscle needed. no steroids either. so it's safely the most anyone's ever lifted.

Well, he trained a hole year for this single lift. So yes, the strongest in deadlift but look at him, does that look like someone who could carry on to the next event that evening? The man was near death and bleed thru all possible places. He even had a small stroke and couldn't remember his wives name several days later. Yes this is for me the most impressive lift in strenght history but it has nothing to do with a strongman competition cause, as I said, no one can do this and then carry on for next events.

Dude, the way he drove that deadlift in was astounding. Everyone knew looking at it that Eddie's barbell was gonna give out sooner than he did. He did get a brain bleed from this feat-- probably could have died too if he kept going, but holy shit, he made history. Eddie Hall is just built differently. It takes about 30-200 Kn of force to rip somebody's arm off, but this guy could probably rip a person in half. He's literally Thomas Topham if he had time traveled to the present just so he could have modern-day equipment and nutrition. TLDR: Eddie Hall is a legend! tears come to my eyes every time i see this dead lift, this clip of his wife i haven't seen b4, she is so concerned, & the dark place Eddie had to go to in his head to achieve this feat of strength.

Shkadoom He said ‘That’s half a ton!’ A ton is 2000 lbs. He didn’t say metric ton, he said ton. A ton = 2000 lbs. A metric ton = 2204.6 pounds. Thus, it’s MORE than half a ton, and EQUAL to half a METRIC TON.

Brain aneurism and bursted blood vessels in the head causing nose to bleed. Spent the entire time imagining lifting a car off his kids. Mind and body perfection and training for months. Surely this will never be beat. Truly magnificent. Most small forklifts nowadays can’t lift what Eddie just did. And he’s a human! 💪🏻💪🏻😎😎😎😘
