Good stuff Billy. I like how you do "Rider builds" like this one, instead of just "full custom" and "show bike" builds. Those front forks came apart with the same components as my 2000 FXDWG. I made a bushing install tool out of PVC tube. I'd like to just hang out in the shop and watch you work someday. I'll go pickup lunch and do the afternoon beer run. 😆

Nicely done Billy. Been admiring and following your builds since the 90s. Agreed that these older softails can look good with a little love and getting rid of all the bolt-on farkles, stripping down to expose its essence and original design. Less is more. I keep a passenger seat at home for my 05 Deluxe, but rarely run it because I think it ruins the lines of the bike. Sometimes, a mexican blanket fills in if a passenger wants a ride. Really enjoying the content you put out.
