Compound boost is way, way more complicated than people think. The quick purpose most think is..oh, ill use this tiny turbo to spool a bigger one and have the best of both worlds. In reality. You use the primary turbo, which is the LARGE one, to boost the small. Whats really happening is you're creating a greater than 1Bar/atmosphere, usually to a PR(pressure ratio) 2 to 2.5 inside the smaller turbo, which then again does about the same. Im using basic over simplifications but think of it as a boost multiplier of sorts. There's a LOT that goes into spec'ing a Compound setup. The idea of this was awesome and I'm glad you did it, but its a D Series, simple singles work so well its a no brainer for most goals. I hope you hit some major boost soon, nice build!

Could’ve tried a bigger wastegate on the t25 to bypass it. Yes the T3 flows a lot more than the t25 can handle. You need a degree in wizardry to match turbos and tune them. Can’t wait for the K24 compound. I was seriously thinking of compound my k24 I have laying around for an odyssey.

I’m sorry but I did say it in the comments on one of the videos. A wastegate before the small turbo would evacuated the gases that were causing it to overspool. The internal gate on the small turbo was wayyyyyy too small to evacuate the gasses from the compounding boost.

My understanding of the compound turbo setup is; large turbine/small compressor feeds into a small turbine/large compressor turbo. I don’t know what your setup entailed. Also if your using big turbo’s you need high bypass for exhaust gas’s
