In this video, we will upgrade 'World's Most Expensive' Home Arcade machine and stuff it with even more cool features!
In this long video, we will create the new control panel, apply artwork and add the pinball buttons.
Part two of this two-part series will be released next week. In part two we will set up the FPGA, create artwork & themes, and finish the panel.

"Sounds complicated," maybe because it is LOL. Just watching the disassembly made my head hurt thinking about putting all that together and getting it running. "When it's done you'll love it and I will love it," I bet you will love it more LOL. The system was absolutely GORGEOUS as it was, can't wait to see the completed project.

Very nice! I have ordered my Ultimarc parts for a new 2 player control panel on my arcade machine. Still having problems to squeeze everything in so I haven’t started yet and I lack some tools as well. You have inspired me a lot 👍😁 Keep up the good work!

Hey Daniel, love the video! I must say.. it's starting to look a bit more like mine :-) Really love your solution for the small screen. I'm actually busy changing the top again so I'm going to try that solution as wel. Do you happen to have the link to the hdmi adapter you used? Seems much simpeler then what I've done. Really want to see partII!!!! Keep it up!

Awesome work, I’m getting into on making bartop arcades but I’m having a difficult time finding a place to print out custom vinyl decals. May I ask where did you get your decal stickers?? Thank you and GREAT JOB💪💪

Hi, I did them in the Netherlands. It was super easy to find and pretty cheap as well. Decals for the entire cabinet costed about 95 euro or so. But I cut my decals myself so I apply the sheets like 'wallpaper' then cut them to shape. This is also not that difficult.

Yes, I use an (autohotscript) script that uses rocketlauncher to start any game. In Streamdeck I just choose 'open' and then select the AHK file. There is a link to the StreamDeck scripts in the description of this video now. Thanks, Daniel

Daniel, Can you explain briefly how the NEW “Mini “Flightstick by Ultimarc you installed in the upgrade build works? Is it NOT analog? Does that mean it only moves in 8 directions now like a 8-way joystick?

Hello Daniel, really like your work. Can you provide some updated links to some of the equipment you use? (like the kvm switch, rtk gipo board...) Some of them are no longer available (at least I can not find them 😀)

Hi, yes I always search for available parts during the building process. At this time I don't use GPIO boards or switches. I would need to search for them myself too.

Great video Dan, though I was a little worried about your LCD screen when you installed it you had not cut the Vinyl cutout! hope it didn't stick to the LCD screen :S

That was needed as a small part of the screen is hidden bellow the vinyl, in part two we start with the cutout of the screen 😊 -> next week

I didn't like a rubber hammer. It didn't get the job done. Although I have no damage marks while using a normal hammer, I will try a plastic hammer next time. Thanks, Daniel

No not yet, but I hear good things about it. Chris Shaw (HyperArcade Systems) is working on a coinops setup right now I believe.

Hey Daniël, ik kwam jou video tegen omdat ik ook al een tijdje een arcade cab wil maken. Alleen ben ik best kieskeurig😇. Nu zie ik jou kasten en die spreken me echt aan. Vooral de marquee screen!! Waar heb je die gevonden? Want de grootste die ik kan vinden is 14"😔 Hoeveel inch is die van jou? En hoe groot is het speelscherm? 50" zo te zien of is hij een andere maat? Mvg, Benjamin

Sure, panel depth is 10cm (without panel itself) width is 110 cm, depth is about 40cm

Sorry but there are FAR more expensive arcade machines than that. Some with integrated simulators cost up to $100k or more
