How much power does this stuff need man... My stove has 2 40 amp circuits and it's to cook stuff, lol. Man 1k views in one day that's insane, you are doing fantastic, keep up the amazing videos. Well explained and great footage of the different rc components.

I have this car its what got me started in rc again now I have bought a armma big rock wltoys slash 4x4 redcat everest 10 and trx4 also a horizon hobby 23in boat trying to get something from each category also got the redat thunder drift and now I'm about to order my fpv freestyle long range drone and goggles im hooked

a lot of speedrun guys put their gps under the body to protect it in the event of a crash or maybe put some kind of plexiglass box over it to protect it. awesome video i may get one and see if i can squeeze my stock arrma kraton 4s esc motor combo in it. also you may need to upgrade remote if your losing control when it gets far away which at that speed does not take very long.

Yeah, I worked that out the hard way haha, I'm extending the chassis width and getting a radiolink controller for much more range! So it's taking a break for now, but when everything comes in, it'll be ready for phase two haha 😁

I just got mine and smashed it the second time out. Anyone buying this vehicle won't regret but make sure to get on eBay and purchase an aluminum parts package because you will eventually break it. AND A LOT.

i have crashed it multiple times and rarely break anything major, but the aluminum upgrades would be nice!

@@MatthewSimm Ebay is smothered in them. Would be a good vid to show off the aluminum colored ones but you can get purple as well. I have curbs everywhere I go so I run into them A LOT!

Very nice! Can the timing be advanced on that esc, Ritchie went much faster when he did his castle. I can't on mine. I had a dead gps, and a donkey trail, but I tried mine out. My friend has an Arrma Notorious that goes 57mph, and I walked all over him. Can't wait to see your next run. Mines a week out because of weather.

Matthew stick a fan on the motor, it's heat that kills them not the voltage, although more voltage = more heat! You should hit 130kmh fairly easily, and 100mph with a bit of work (I hit 104mph so far and working on build No.2 today) Nice install you did, I put the RX in the same place on mine. Nice to see someone else running the stock body! I use the power hobby gnss speed meter which 'just' sqeezes under the shell (hope that helps). That's a nice straight road BTW! Lower the front with some droop screws that's the best free mod I've done.

Hey Richie! Yeah surprisingly it's not getting to hot, I'd say a fan would still be helpful! I've been watching your videos and I'm very impressed with your 104mph! I'm looking forward to build no2. I have plans to raise the stock body just a touch for some more head room and I have installed some droops but they definitely need more adjusting. I was really sad I let my wife drive this car for like two minutes she drives it right into the brick wall and it budged the front diff. I'm so shocked bc I see how much people wreck there's and nothing she wasn't going that fast

i nearly stopped watching when you said you might cut the xt plug off and put a deans on it!! that's sacrilege lol i hate dean's plugs got to be the worst plug ever invented!! it's a bugger you crashed it but nice job mate!! no doute you'll smash the record, been thinking off seeing how fast i can get my 1/12 mardave v12 going, (it's a indoor carpet racer you prob haven't hear off) with that motor in it i could see it doing 100mph if you can keep it on it's wheels lol

@@MatthewSimm It's a small uk company quite a big following in the uk with racing them indoors as that's what they are designed for but there so simple and easy to modify probably got mine doing 50mph+ just putting a brushless set up on 2s need to get gps though, had to order parts for it today as crashed it into a curb testing it after modding it to get 1/10 rubber wheels on it, as you can only really get foam's for it and it get's rather expensive destroying a set every time me and my mate race them outside!!
