I love my wltoys 1/18th scales, I have the a959b, a969b and a979b. I made the a979b brushless and it’s a firecracker! Love what you’re doing 👍🏻🍻

My a969 short course is as fast as yours! Keep the metal to a minimum to not strain the electronics. Those blue wheels will bind over time. I went with a 550 3300 kv brushless with 60 amp esc and a 70c 3s lipo. All metal gearing and diffs also.

Cool build bro. Nice work on the tire gluing, that can go horribly wrong sometimes . I like that you weigh stuff and share it . Weight is always something I try to keep track of

You're gonna need a front wing to keep in from going airborne. That thing is lethal.

I've been looking around for a smaller kit to put together a rally car, this looks like it might fit the bill... throw a Subaru body on there and it's done... can't wait for the real test video... keep it up

Frickin' amazing Gov!!! 👍 You need to take her out to Ocean Beach, off the old Highway up in San Fran, you could do an epic UNINTERRUPTED speed run there, hardly anyone around this time of year and the beach scenery is awesome to bash at. Love what you did there with that new metal chassis. That A959 has come a bloody long way, huh Rich...??!? One more thing Rích, slow down on the caffeine, your eyeballs were lit up like Russian Christmas lights!!!! 😜💯👍

Man I get through 4-5 pots of coffee a day, that said I sleep about 2-3 hrs a day..get lots done though!

These little guys are a blast too. I have the new Wiltoys 124919 on order basically the stretch model of the 144001 on its way. Looks more stable. Bet that'll make a good speedster.

I was running a 3000kv 3650 motor in mine on 2s and was pushing 50mph. I ran it a little on 4s, but was too scared to speed test it with my phone. I recommend getting some Contact RC Foam tires and lots of downforce to keep it planted

I have the a959b w a 480 amp esc/⁸ turn modified 540 can(japan), aluminum turn bulkles oil shocks and a 3 wire servo, my transmitter has hi/med/low settings, its fast on low settings but med/hi is insane, it's not normal anymore

Going to need way more power to even get in the top 10 of fastest. That little motor and esc are funny though. I’m sure you have the the right stuff in your collection and slap some battery trays on the sides and up the power before you even get started. Good luck!

lets get the body posts ordered and the body mounted before we speed test it. A cheap body is (cheap as chips) great insurance to protect all the goodies inside.

Love the micro project!! Well done! But are you sure lightweight is the way to go? I'm thinking speed is limited by stability for a car this size, not by the power to weight ratio... 🤔 I'm guessing that if you added some weight to the car you might end up being able to get higher speeds and still be stable!! Easy to try right?

i know why they flip so fast, the suspension put the rc to high and the air force make the downforce on the wing down on the back to fast, you need to lower the center gravity, that will help you cut the air much better, remember LC

Plz avoid this thing at all cost. It is a heap of junk aluminium. The carbon chassis is the only good thing BUT, it won't fit the original plastic arms of the 959b. For the same amount of money you can buy a Losi Mini-T 2.0 with high quality parts and support. I don't know why people keep supporting this crap. Oh btw, good luck getting the steering right. I had to make my own turnbuckles to fix my 959b's aweful steering, camber and toe. One last thing, those shocks are aweful, its just a spring inside, they leak when you put oil in them and if you want to do speedruns, your dogbones have to be as horizontal as possible.

Why do people always cut out when they do certain parts of building an rc such as glueing wheels? I think those are the most important part of they video. If everyone showed these procedures people could actually see what works and what doesn’t and why. This is not specific to this channel really all big channels. It’s just odd. Show us your trick.
