I usually strongly dislike TikTok/KZfaq shorts that are history-related, but I don't think I've skipped ANY of the videos I've run across from you. I also really enjoy the "basicness" of your videos. No AI-generated pictures, fake voices, or "facts" that are just make-believe... just a dude passionate about history. You do a fantastic job and deserve more traffic on your media platforms. Keep at it, man! I hope you get more of what you want for your collection!

As an old soldier, I really enjoy your content, and obvious passion about the WW II era. I'd suggest asking around, you'd be surprised how man older folk have this kind of stuff just lying around. I got most of a US Korean War uniform and a load of other gear from one guy, a 40mm AA shell from another, and if all goes to plan a neighbor will be dropping off a dress uniform this weekend. Its all about who you know.

Great content. Here is a little tip for you about break top revolvers like your or Webley's. After shooting do not drop the barrel to eject the empties. They will often jump over the star and cause a tough jam. Drop the frame while keeping the barrel horizontal. All empties will fall completely free. This was from an old Brit soldier I knew.

I will say this is an impressive collection and you can easily explain each item in great detail, however small nitpick as a fellow military collector I have multiple patches in my collection, similar amount to your own, and I noticed that your 101st Airborne patches on the uniform would be post war as the edge of the patch is more embroidered than the "cut edge" style of WW2. I know you can't tell from a distance of course at reenactments, it just caught my eye. Once again, great collection!

What a FANTASTIC video and a wonderful collection. It's great to see younger people keeping history alive. Now, I'm not American but I served over 20 years flying in the British and Australian Air Forces and fought alongside the Americans, Canadians and others in Afghanistan and Iraq after 911. Our military histories are closely woven together throughout WWI, WW2, Korea and Vietnam as well as both Gulf conflicts. We fought off the German invasion, vanquished the Axis, pushed back against communism, fought terrorism and upheld freedom at every stage of every battle. Your passion for history allows the stories of those brave men and women to live on as well as serve as a reminder of the sacrifices they made. Keep up the great work, I'm working my way through all your videos after finding your channel....GREAT STUFF!!!

I have a jacket from my grandmothers uncle who was a gunner on B52’s. It’s very awesome and in good condition. I plan on keeping it and passing it on to my kids. I love WW2 history and equipment. When I was younger and airsoft I packed my Thompson sub and 1911 and dressed as authentically on a budget as I could while other people dressed super modern lol. I think WW2 is so profound and people are so into collecting things from the war because it was truly one of the only good vs evil feeling wars that had so much heroism behind it.

All I have are the items that belonged to my Father. He was a naval aviator who was winged at NAS Jacksonville. Plus His certificate stating he was a AVN that was signed by RAdm Chester Nimitz, his Ensign commission was signed by Forrestal. I also have his original Gold Wings, his DFC and Air Medals and ribbons. I have his navy issued PAL knife, waterproof map of the slot, logbooks and his flight school yearbook. It’s all meaningful to me and my son. An interesting piece is a 1913 dated M1911 pistol that belonged to Ret BGen Willis Whelchel that he carried through wwii through Korea.

As a WWII history nut I did 82nd AB reenactments back over 20 years ago, it's fun seeing your enthusiasm for the era and history. Still have most of my stuff but sold my WWII Winchester M1. One of my favorite pieces came from my brother inlaw who had a mint unused fixed bail helmet with liner he got at a army surplus, I couldn't believe it. Also managed to find a set of unused rations at a local antique market. It was alot of fun collecting and enjoyed doing living history events. I mean how many people can say they walked next to a moving WWII Sherman tank with vintage planes flying overhead, talk about an experience.

I'm new to your channel. You're doing a great job. So nice to see the younger generation as excited about ww2 and the ETO. I used to have a large collection of original US and German pieces. Now I have the jacket worn by Gordon In band of Brothers, where he gets shot through the arms while making coffee and a 1942, 1911, and an extremely early inland M1 carbine (flip sight, no bayonet lug). I enjoyed the video of your inventory. Keep up the good work.

Great job! I used to do CW reenacting until I got too old. My 4th Great grandfather was with Co. C 42nd NCST CSA and was drafted at age 42 and killed in battle. I have copies of letters he wrote home during the War. I also used to skirmish with the N-SSA and got to shoot some original weapons with actual Minie Balls and artillery loads at targets for scoring. I have an accumulation of weapons from the WBTS (repro Colt rifled musket), a couple of M-1903, a M-1917, M-1 Carbine, M-1911, M-1 Rifle (AKA Garand) M-14 with actual Vietnam bring back magazine, M-4 semi auto (legal) all with appropriate bayonets. I also have helmets from WW I, WWII, Korean War winter hat that was my dad's. Keep history alive!

One of my buddies was really into WWII reenacting, his collection wasn't as extensive as yours but he did have some interesting item, essentially he had one reproduction field uniform with appropriate web gear and an original dress uniform that fit him, I don't know if it was a rule for his unit but most guys represented the 29th Infantry Division because we lived in Virginia and some of the guys had family members who had served in that unit. One night he invited me and my wife to his place for a Christmas party and a guy from his reenactijg unit was there and they were both wearing their full WWII dress uniforms.

Great job! On the video and on the collection. It's wonderful to see younger people interested in this pivotal American history. No doubt, use the repro stuff when you re-enact. I know that paying a premium for repro stuff seems foolish when you can get original stuff for less - but you will wear it out. And stay focused (I didn't - hahaha). If I made a video like yours it would take 4 days. I know some guys where it would take months or even years. Move along the stuff that is not within your focus. Anything historical is very cool and worth trying to find the right home for. And yes, I watched the whole video so I am a WWII nerd - my whole life. One last thought, when you have over 200 WWII reference books, then, you have "a lot".

to your relative who fought in ww2 : Thank you for your service and bravery during World War II. Your contributions to our country and others will never be forgotten. Your dedication and valor played a vital role in securing the freedoms we enjoy today. Your sacrifices during World War II have left a lasting impact on the world, and we are forever grateful for your service. Your generation's sacrifices paved the way for a better world, but it's disheartening to see that our generation is facing challenges, and positive change seems difficult without the cooperation of those who have contributed to the current state. We hope that those who have caused harm and destruction will change their minds and join in efforts to make this world a better place. We must learn from the past, honor your generation's legacy, and work together to build a more compassionate, just, and peaceful world for future generations. Your bravery serves as an inspiration for us to persevere in creating positive change. Thank you once again for your service and for being a beacon of hope in these uncertain times.

My grandfather was in the Air Corp during WW2. I wish he would have shared stories with me of his time there. I found out just recently that he was in the European theater and was tasked with secret missions behind enemy lines. I’ve only become a WW2 enthusiast recently. Thank you for this tour and for your content.
