It's amazing how people's attitude changes when they get written a citation based on laws they clearly broke... That's what court is for to fight the citation. Cops enforce it, courts handle them.

My wife was from Glendora and knew Rocky very well. A very likable person.

He did a solid for the guy, but his issues aren't solved yet. Owning a truck like that is pure money for the truck, aftermarket garbage, insurance, and drivers license. He'll be back and next time they're going to tow it.

This is what compassion, mercy, and grace looks like. Things happen and the trooper made a judgement call. Most troopers tend to force people to find a valid, licensed driver or have the vehicle towed. This trooper decided against that and decided to not "stick it" to the man even though he clearly deserved it after the trooper explained why he was being given a citation. Major props to this trooper and all state troopers here in Arkansas. This job is not easy or for the faint of heart.

All these bad comments. If people paid attention, the guy said and showed the officer all the receipts paying to get his license back. But the city who suspended his license prob hadn't entered it in and unsuspended it. The officer did his job by writing a ticket, which will get dismissed once he shows the court it should've been unsuspended. The guy didn't show extra emotion to the officer at all until after the ticket was written. Anyone would be upset about another $800 ticket. The officer showed empathy and prob believed his license should not be suspended and let him drive on. My father-in-law always had insurance from a small agency that wasn't connected with the system. It never showed he had insurance but every ticket got dismissed because he did have insurance. In okla, you keep your tag and put it on your new vehicle. At least it was his tag and not stolen. The officer should've pulled over the guy holding up traffic in the left lane for impeding traffic as he did it to the officer also. That guy caused the whole thing and was breaking the law also. Drive what you want and quit being a karen every time you see something you've been brainwashed to hate. Those twenkies you eat are bad for you also.

That vehicle would not be street legal here. Tyre tread area outside the guards to start with. Would also need a mod cert for the body/suspension lift.

Suspended license, tags from another vehicle, limo tint on all his windows, blackout lights, no way that lift and those wheels are street legal, and he’s an unsafe driver. The driver then goes from having an excuse for everything (none of which matters) to wanting to argue with the trooper. And the trooper does him a solid and allows him to illegally continue driving a vehicle not legal on public roads. That trooper needs retraining! I’ve never seen any cop let anyone with a suspended license drive anything before, especially not an ASP trooper!

Back when you had to have your car inspected before renewing your license if your tires stuck out pass the fender it would not pass and if you passed one and a trooper stopped them they looked at the inspection sticker and they could take your inspection license
