Absolutely! There definitely is an element of chance to this career but it should only be a small element not the main approach

Great advice here. And thanks - I’ve absolutely heard some of these before! 😂 Although I feel the mirror has a place at times - more for student speech exercises though. I absolutely agree that one needs to lose oneself in the emotion / creating of emotion rather than look at themselves. Nice work, this was really fun to watch 👍🏻

Per the last peice of bad advice and ur correction that you have to feel within and the outside will just happen, what would u say to someone who’s naturally not emotive/doesn’t have a lot of facial expressions?

Great question. First of all I would never worry about facial expressions as we talk about in the video. Second, emotional access will come and again isn't the goal. Just focus on truly connecting in the scene or monologue and as you build confidence and relaxation you will have greater access to your emotions. Cheers Andy
