Question at 3:35 is the full body slot ok to be vertical video with the black on the sides for those 3-5 seconds or would that be a no and look too unprofessional

The “umm” in your video is sooooooo annoying, for the sake of explaining to an new actor. Have you ever tried to get rid of it ????

I was sceptical at first as I’ve always struggled with learning lines, especially for a monologue but I just memorised a 16 line monologue for an audition with a new agency and it was so much easier and far less stress than I usually put myself through.

I feel like it’s worth mentioning, that studies have shown that doing static style stretches of any of our tissues just before a performance actually hampers our mobility and dexterity. So make sure that you avoid doing any static holds or stretches in the mouth or tongue just before needing to perform. It’s better to stick with moving and expressive style openings in the face and speech centers. 😊 🎤 😮

Really interesting do you have any links or the name of the study would love to see more

Nerves ..get rid of nerves..fear n self conscious ness prevents us from being best Avoid mimicry of others Concentrate on other actor in front of u..be in present Viewing character as u dont seperate urself from character. Living truthfully within the character Physical actuon u shud do lyk if scene is drinking drink in real eat in real Find simple story underneath n wt character is gng through n to connect wid their experience

I have watched this video a lot of times and each time i watch it i learn something new. That ladys and gentleman is a great teacher. He is a master at teaching actors. As a 16 year old boy I feel confused about this profession but this incredible man has open my eyes so much, i can not describe how great full i am with him. Thank you

as I am practicing how will i be able to measure my growth? my ability to get thru the tongue twisters fastly and perfectly? please advise
@StageMilk4 ай бұрын
You can measure by just how you feel in your day to day or professional communications. But I’d recommend recording yourself periodically if you do want to monitor progress. But if you do these regularly you will undoubtedly improve!

Loved watching this interview. I had not heard of her until recently when I watched Succession and then Predestination, both of which she was fantastic in. I was so happy to see that she won an Emmy (and other awards) recently. In particular she does an excellent American accent & facial expressions, and comes across so well in interviews. Hope she continues to do great things!
