We had a Christmas party at our house, (it's an annual one) and one of our guests knew robbo, and mark Robinson practically invited himself in, he was an absolute prick that night and it proves it's not just something that goes on in the media

Mark Robinson, sometimes amusing, mostly irrelevant, but always a fool. He adds nothing to AFL football! His verbal communication is schoolboy level. Maybe he can write, but I wouldn't waste my time reading it. He devalues every TV show he appears on. Other than all of the above, he seems like a nice bloke!

Robbo has really gone down hill. It's apparent since seeing this, he still slurred speech a bit, but go watch how he talks now. He's either an alcoholic or has cognitive decline.

I admired and loved Hirdy as a player when I was a child, growing up. He was a magnificent player and it was always a joy to watch him play. I’m not biased, I didn’t give two shits about the Bombers; I was always a NM supporter. However there were always certain players that commanded respect due to their talent and/or sportsmanship. A great role model. I felt so sorry for the man and his family that such a titan fell to all this crap. Even after a decade, I still don’t really know the details of the scandal. Although, if any of it were true then it is of my own opinion that all the other teams were doing it also. It just so happened that the Bombers ‘got caught’, subsequently reamed by the media relentlessly and punished with prejudice by the AFL and was made to be an example from the flogging they took. I’ve seen murderers and other horrific criminals be treated better by the media. Hird was harassed on the daily, bloody farken almost hourly. The Australian footy paparazzi would camp out the front of Hird’s *FAMILY* home every morning and ruined his home life. For months and practically years this went on. Fucking OJ Simpson didn’t get the same level of journalism fuckery. It was complete bullshit; the man didn’t deserve what he got. Piece of shit media.

Well, when your club is playing poorly, plagued with drama and issues on and off the field, the last thing you want is to answer stupid, inflammatory questions from a bloke that sounds perpetually half-cut.
