@@jonslg240it’s not just the percentages. It’s how ridiculous it was that it even came to this. Duhamel played this hand like an absolute bafoon, I understand the preflop action, but after the flop and turn bet you 100% know you’re beat, jamming middle paid for essentially your tournament life is just a terrible play that didn’t deserve to be rewarded, yet he went on to win it all. Affleck was a far better poker player, that played the hand that properly , and busted. That’s why it’s the worst bad beat ever
@darylmixan8170
@darylmixan8170 5 ай бұрын
@jonslg240 and a bad beat is more than percentages, it's when a player in any circumstance should not have played his hand the way he did. AA getting beat by KK is not necessarily a bad beat, it's a cooler, both players did exactly what they should have done. Tournament pros call AA vs KK a 50% hand because if you play long enough you'll be on either end 50%.

Ya know man, fate was already set, the cards that came up were already written. Affleck was beaten by the cards already. Anyone can see ( as Duhamel did ) that there is a straight or 3 of a kind as possible outs. He was sporting a pair of Jacks himself…….was it such an outrageous call ??? This really only goes to prove that a players profession of skill is really made up of 95% ego……… and luck usually prevails over skill in a heads up match……

There’s no hand JJ is winning and still makes the call. I play against players like this in cash games. AA should’ve put him all in on the flop or preflop.

Peter Eastgate's pocket 6's Vs Montgomery's A3 of diamonds. Montgomery hits his nut flush, but Eastgate hits his 2 outer on the river for a full house, this was on the final table too. A much worse beat than this one.

If it's the hand I'm thinking of, Eastgate actually hit a one-outer. The last 6 was in the muck. But also, Eastgate called the all-in preflop when he was ahead, but then Montgomery flopped an A and got another A on the turn.

Great reaction both sides. Close second to Timofey when Robl lost with Quads.

My favorite is Gus Hansons 5s vs D.Negreanu 6s.
