2 +/- matchmaking ruins the game, 3 arties per team is idiotic, standard ammo is mostly useless thanks to the premium ammo, some premium tanks are simply too good for their tier and some important tanks that lead to good tanks are actual garbage.

No offense, but this video illustrates that you are burned out on WoT. It doesn't really illustrate the problems with the game, imo. Primary issues with the game, imo: 1a. MM. Being low tier 80% of the time is not fun. 1b. MM. Outcome of games is easily predicted based on skill of players and/or vehicle imbalance. Imbalance in skill of top 3, in particular, usually ends in predictable result. 2. Arty. Broken mechanic that sucks the fun out of the game. 3a. Gold spam. 2 key negates armor and/or player skill in angling, etc. It's a crutch for lazy players, imo. 3b. Power creep. WG has consistently broken balance with introduction of OP pay2win tanks. Old tanks are often neglected. New tanks are OP.

To the ppl saying he was playing bad. If someone hates playing the game they are not going to put in high levels of effort. It dosnt help when you already dont find the game fun. Only to be slapped by the things that dont make it fun when you return.

I am really sorry to do so but I have some critics for you.. First of I want to clarify that you general point is true (in my eyes) but: Complaining about a tier 7 shooting gold at a tier 9 (Jagtpanther in your first game with the Mäuschen) is kind of odd. Because that is what "gold ammo" is supposed to be used for. A tier 7 TD wich stands no chance against a tier 9 superheavy with standard ammo should be abled to switch to gold ammo to still at least have a chance to penetrate a top tier heavy tank. He still needs to have the knowledge where to shoot and btw I have the Mäuschen myself and driving around the slope like this would never come to my mind if you hab sidescraped like you should in a tank like the Mäuschen when you encounter an enemy the JP would not have been abled to pen you. I don't want to insult you or your playstyle after all WoT is still a game and you can play it your way. But if you want to be competitive you gotta stick to some rules and that includes not driving to some open area all alone or with few allies (I have seen that multiple times in your replays) . Still it's your life and you can choose the way to play the game but I think if you do so you shouldn't complain about the game being so broken. To end this I want to say again: I do also think that wot is not satisfying to play at the moment and it hasn't been satisfying to play in the last time. Thanks for your effort in still making videos I hope times will change and you and many other will be able to have a good time with wot again.

Yea same here, I've played WoT for 5 years now (when it released on xbox) and now i have very little desire to play it. I mainly play War Thunder now due to its realism.

WoT now: We added artillery WoT 2050: We added infantry with ATGMs, planes, helicopters, orbitals cannons and spaceships into the game. Just to piss you you off and make your tank useless.

Last week did it to me too, some problems I had: 1) I had a game where 10 out of 10 hits were just crits, no penetrations. 2) I had another game not long after where 100% of shots missed, 100% of enemy shots hit me. 3) I got 100% arty focus, they decided they wanted me out of the game and ignored their flank that collapsed, resulting in our victory, but me being very unhappy. It wasn't fun getting 50% HP shaved off in the first few minutes by a triple strike. 4) Team mates constantly lemming train down one flank and leaving the other wide open. 5) Any and every heavy tank I played was immediately met with 100% gold spam. I rage quit and played something else.

I don't plan to play this game anytime soon. MM sucks not only because the 3-5-7 shit but because it doesn't take into consideration the players experience, win ratio to balance teams: This create matches where one team is composed of samurai laser guided killing machines and the other team (probably the one you will end up with) is basically composed of brain dead paper weights (like players with 20K games with 44% win ratio). Combine the previous things with arty stun shit + fully aimed shots miss + shots doing low damage rolls most of the time

Major contributing factors that lead to people leaving the game: 1) Fucking arty, the stuns are for too long and they fire faster then they used to be 2)Op premium tanks, what's the point in fighting back if you can't even pen whatever your shooting at regardless of if your shooting gold or not 3) Gold spam, the game recently has given players alot of ways to get credits without having to spend money (christmas event, personal reserves, etc) So it encourages people to load more gold in their games 4) Match Making, fighting tier 10's in a tier 8 tank is just asking to die unless you are a TD (NO MORE 3,5,7 TEMPLATE) I've played WoT for the past 6 years and those are some of the main differences I've noticed between the golden age of the game and now

I hawe 2 months of not playng WOT and i like it. I play now from time to time Armored Warfare and is fun, no RNG and the aim is SUPERB. What is wrong with WOT is +2 MM and RNG...+ the aiming... you aim 2 days from 50 metters and the tank shoot in the ground or in space with 5 crew skills and all the rest. Nice video dude. If you have seen toxicity like that only in WoT or mostly in WoT then you havent played other multiplayer titles yet. Take every competitive game for example. R6,CS:GO,LoL they are all filled to the brim with toxicity. I come from those games and started playing WoT again recently after not playing it for about 4-5 years and the Community is relativly speaking not very toxic.

Do you get to see the enemies everywhere all the time or is there a more realistic mode? It looks like the arcade version of WT and I hate arcade for tanks... no strategy, no good hiding spots, no flanking... maybe you need to play a harder difficulty game to enjoy. :)

Mauschen is one of if not the worst tier 9 in the game It's essentially a Maus without any useable armor and as slow as the maus

The WoT Classic event from about a year or so ago was the most fun I had in the game since 2014 (first started playing in 2011/2012). Buy now I am playing mostly War Thunder, have not touched WoT since about a year ago

The WOT community is very toxic! I let my 7 year old nephew play on my account at low tier. (1,2 & 3). So he was just learning. Although he picked it up quite quickly. People were private messaging him out of game and being very nasty. I just made sure he didn't see them. Made me really mad. It's only a game. Some people need to get a grip!

I have noticed that standard ammo (even high pen) just doesnt pen anything. I was bouncing standard B with my E4. Then i didnt penetrated side of another E4 and tier 8 proguetto. In T30 i could pen mauschen lower plate.

It took me a year and a half, grinding to the BullDog, Easy 8 and the Cromwell to learn the lesson that the only lines to grind are Russian Mediums and Heavies. Now I try to pass that along to any newb I meet to try to save them from wasting time on anything else.

I agree with LuckyLeopard, when I play my E50, people sling gold every match to negate my otherwise pretty reliable armor. I like the E50 for its speed, armour and gun stats which make it a strong tank since it was released. Gold rounds just destroy the efforts of good players trying to avoid damage through angling or hull-down etc, but 1 dab of the 2 key and it seems all my efforts were for nothing. So I have been playing War Thunder, but due to school final year exams coming up, I havent got to play in weeks. *Luckily I still have my shipgirl waifus on my phone.*

One of the biggest problem is that if you loose with the jagdtiger, for example, and you did 2 kill you'll recive 8k coins (silver) while you spend 17-18 to repair the tank, with the jagdtiger you always loose money. Nowadays wot is fun only at tier 5-6

Tbh... The tank you are driving is a part of the issue. If they removed gold ammo and arty alone, without doing anything else. I would def leave WOT rather fast. The issue is that most HT's etc was not buffed when the super heay meta came. Take the VK 100.01 before it, or any tier 8 Prem HT or Jap HT added the past 2 years. I mean the IS-6 has an 8% chance vs the VK 100.01's cupola. And when most equal tiers have less then a 30% chance vs your armor. Then gold spam is all you will see. Even after the "special ammo change" if they don't buff their AP. But I suspect that matters little. As for most it's not what they shoot at them. It's more on that they do damage. As you are in a super heavy.

Seriously take a longer break or don't go back. Your expectations of the game are unrealistic. Of course a tier 7td is going to load "gold" rounds, it was the only way he had any chance at penning you. At that he still had to aim for your "weakspots" (lower plate, in through the plate behind your tracks or the commanders cupola. (See tanks.gg)). And any smart arty will focus a top tier slow heavy tank. You are literally the biggest threat to thier team and easy to hit. People used to bitch about premium pay to win ammo, now you and other youtubers complain because somehow magically shooting premium (usually bought with credits) ammo somehow makes WarGaming money. You don't need a premium account or pay for premium tanks to earn credits in this game. Yes there is slower progression but it's still a free to play game. But yes take a longer break or don't return. In less than 10 minutes you turn toxic. If you continue without constructive criticism you are just part of the problem.

19 games today, platooning with a mate, 0 games top tier, most +2 the rest +1...not even a +0. 19 games and 7 wins. For every half decent game there were a bucket load of 'RNG says NO!'/'team says duuurrrrrrrrrr' games. It is hard to like WoT when it's like that...seriously hard.

wot is a dangerous thing, i think in total my entire life i have spent like maybe 70€ on the game, and i regret every single penny of it, the way you get tricked into spending money only to be dissapointed afterwards should be illegal, i mean they say "it's your money" but the amount of offers and shit you get spammed with is so huge that you just want to buy something at one point

I startet with WoT about 1 month ago, got to T3 and stopped playing because I didnt really enjoy a single game.

WOT RIP After leaving the game over 2 and a half years ago, I thought I would try it again to see if any of the major issues had been addressed. Sadly not, within a few hours I received the usual poisonous messages telling me I was useless and I should uninstall. Given that every map has been changed and I hadnt played for a long time, I think that person was being a little unfair. The game contains no option that allows a single player to learn maps and try out tactics on their own. The only way to learn a map is to keep trying new things when it comes up, but given the number of maps it isnt that frequently. And that's really the crux, the game allows experienced players to mix with inexperienced players - which is fine for teaching purposes, but not for normal play. A simple separation algorithm where you only play against people of your own ability would solve the issue, end seal clubbing and remove a lot of the frustration and subsequent anger. I had hoped that the match making issues would have gone by now but I still find myself matched against tanks two levels above me. In one recent game my team were winning hands down, there was only a lone Maus to beat. Slowly and methodically he eliminated all of the because no matter what we did, none of our shells could penetrate his armour. This isnt an OP issue but a match making issue. A simple bit of code would resolve it. There was talk of balancing changes implemented since I took my sabatical but, as a returning player, I can say that it has not had the desired effect. So what could be done. BOBBING BACK AND FORTH: Tanks were never designed to rock back and forth behind cover. It prevents others playing and causes me a lot of frustration. I recommend introducing a reverse gear delay of, say, 5 seconds. If a tank advances, this is a semi realistic amount of time to shoot and withdraw. CORRIDORS: Even though the maps have been redesigned they suffer the same drawbacks. They are mostly corridors because there are so few safe routes. CITIES: The next thing is to recognise that tanks do not fight well in cities. They are just too vulnerable. Make at least 2/3rds of all maps open rolling ground. LIGHT TANKS: These have become mostly unplayable because of the layout of the maps. If you want light tanks in the game, let them have a chance of playing. Longer spotting distances, higher camo, and more bushes would help. CHOICE OF MAPS: The biggest single change that would help improve the player experience however, would be to allow players to exclude a map by its main characteristic for a type of tank. So, in a light tank, no cities. In a tank destroyer, open countryside. The current option is fairly useless in helping this problem. It would also record stats on the type of maps players prefer. Until those changes come into play I shall stay away. My epitaph will be a final fling on the idiotic Widepark map, where I started in the north, moved carefully to the west, got to the end, moved a fraction and was hit by three separate shells. That isnt gaming, that is simply pampering to a select few.

The sadest thing is that people not only shoot gold at heavy armored targets like the maus but they goldspam lightly armored targets like (for example) the comet

1-A: Myself and a lot of others shoot Gold/Premium ammunition because it's just so much more worth it. Yes. You spend more credits per shell for resupply but you have a higher chance to pen and that means more consistent damage and for me. That's more fun than bouncing and not doing good damage. To fix this there would either need to be an increase in standard penetration values or a decrease in armour on weak spots of some tanks. Or a weak spot to begin with. 1-B: Tanks not having frontal weak spots anymore. Chieftain for example. Only weak spots frontally are the commanders hatch or hull and a tiny part of the frontal turret that is slightly weaker than the rest of the turret. But still strong enough to stop a penetration from most shells in the game, Excluding very high pen rounds. When a Chieftain goes hulldown there will be no chance to hit the hull so you can only gamble on hitting the insanely small commanders hatch and with it's size you have maybe a 5% chance of hitting and a 2.5% chance of penning or the part of the turret that you need really high pen for. 2-A: Stun... Stun can go to hell. Who ever thought stun was a good idea needs to be fired. Stun was the single worst addition to the game ever, You go from having a 100% crew with 5 skills to a crew with -5 skills and down syndrome because the stun mechanic is over effective. It removes more than 75% effectiveness from your crew and tank. I'd understand if this was a realistic game since stun would be a thing if you were hit by something with such a large caliber gun. But then again. Stun would be a thing from anything with an even remotely large caliber gun. But this isn't a realistic game. It's an arcade game. it used to be in some aspect somewhat realistic using only tanks that actually existed but that went out the window a LONG time ago. About 7-8 years ago. Give or take a bit. It's been made very clear that they don't care for realism of any kind so adding stun was not only a terrible idea. But also pointless. 2-B: Arty should either be removed completely or limited to 1 per team. For anyone with any skill what so ever it takes 1 person with XVM and that is a rat to say in the chat "Focus this guy, He has purple stats" blah blah. It goes on. It's even worse if it's the arty player with XVM. They will almost always go out of their way to focus a single player or single out a few players and ruin their experience in playing a tank while some man child sits at the back eating himself to death. The only people that don't hate arty players are in 1 of 2 groups. 1: Terrible player with low IQ 2: An player who plays arty for any reason other than the campaign missions Also.. The campaign missions for tanks such as the T-55A, Obj. 260, Chimera & Obj. 279(e) shouldn't have arty missions. For myself and a few friends who hate playing arty because we've realized that it's a waste of time. We don't want to play arty.

Wallet closed UFN. Few things upset me more than grinding to a particular tank or tier, only to find out Wargaming nerfs the fucker. Case in point: E100 Heavy tank. It most certainly is not what it used to be. The game may not be dying, but it's not as much fun as it was a couple years ago.

World of Tanks does give us low rolls when we have the last shot on a tank before it is killed. They change RNG when the tank you are shooting is extremely low health

With Russian yanks you can't hit when you are aiming for like 5 seconds, it misses anyways. But when you shoot on move you will 100% hit the target.

played two games yesterday before i got annoyed, the first i was in my amx30B, i fired 3 apcr and 4 heat shells at the sides and ass of a K-91, they all bounced, all of his shells hit; the second game, i was in my e-75, got triple teamed by artillery (m53/55, s-51, and fv-207) the instant i was spotted, no other tanks shot at me, three artillery were able to hit me one after another and lock me in place, this game used to be my favorite

So, honestly have fun in the game, but! I get so stressed and my need play drops HUGELY when I'm trying to complete campaigns. They seem easy until I try lol
