I have really enjoyed this bike while I've had it and can't wait to put lots more miles on it ! With some minor upgrades I think it will be the perfect bike!

My 22 klx300sm has 12k miles No issues at all. Love how it easily handles curves. Light weight and flickable. I would buy again too. Love your videos of this bike

Hey, out of curiosity, did you ever take it onto the highway for extended periods of time? If so was there a rev limit or speed limit you would try and hold yourself to in 6th gear? I read another comment where someone said they rode on the highway for 2 hours and had to get the engine rebuilt due to the stress on the engine, but they could've been riding it too hard

I just bought the gray 2024 SM model. I love it. I’ve ridden a bigger bike but I’m excited to learn on this one. Plenty of around town power if your willing to work the gear box

@@dcjr1053 mostly cosmetic. Front and rear fender changes and a new headlight and shroud. Just enough to make the aftermarket parts different and not available yet.

I wanted the KTM 690 sm, and I still want it. I had the money to buy it and I SOOOOO wanted to. In the end I realized for the price of the KTM 690 sm, I bought BOTH KLX 300 sm and KLX 300 ds. I bought the KLX 300 sm knowing that it was a budget compromise and I ride it like it is. I know what it is, and what it is NOT.

I've had 2 ktm 690s I had the 2015 Enduro r that I converted to supermoto and then bought the 2020 690 smc-r... I loved them both very much, but they both had issues.. I didn't mind since I had warranty and multiple bikes... but for the price I hated all the problems. I have the svartpilen 401 that has tasteful mods now and I beat the heck out of it. I love it more than the ktm. I now want the klx 300sm I rode it today and loved it.

Why do some appear to have YELLOW trim and not green? Or am I imagining this? OKAY I see at the end. But I've seen 2022 YELLOW SMs?! - oh well - a decal kit would fix all of that.

They changed the shade to a yellowish green one year or more. You aren't imagining it.

I just bought one of these, it's my first ever motorcycle. I can comfortably put both feet flat on the ground and i never even considered myself tall, aside from that i have no idea if this is a good choice for my entry into riding... KZfaq is broken 💀💀💀

Hey homie I love your sm vids I just got a klx300sm 740 miles but it's got laid down on the low side and fucked the plastic over the battery and I can't find a replacement could you help or know of and places that sell discount plastics individually?. LMK G.

Is it the plastic that literally holds the battery in? You might have to get it straight from kawasaki ?
