They did in the past and over time if they get experienced candidates running and put forth a platform that actually is for the regular people it is possible Sinn Fein could win. People in the South decry what happened in the North. But, nobody wants to admit that after the British forced the partition on those fighting for independence, and let's be honest that is what happened because the British were the ones who put forth the idea of partition and made the threats that saw it accepted, those in the South gave a sigh of relief and were happy with their newfound independence and over time abandoned the Nationalist community in the North who had fought alongside them during the war of independence. It is easy under the circumstances of such ease in the South to look down your noses at those in the Nationalist community in the North and Sinn Fein in particular. Forgetting how messed up the political process was there. Businesses and others with special interests were given five even seven votes compared to the one vote per person that constitutes a real democracy and Derry for example was gerrymandered so the minority got most of the council seats and the majority Nationalist community had no say.

If you're just starting off in life, there is nothing there for you. The country needs a change in government where the focus is on the very people who would be supporting the country for the next few decades, provided they stop emigrating and have a place to stay. The Only way Sinn Fein would make government in the South is because the others are so bad, Still I think if people think a SF government will change anything they would be sorely disappointed. Its all Global now and transnational and national governments are now becoming more and more irrelevant. Just look at any nation trying to step outside of Global norms and go its own way, it gets destroyed, and with Ireland being pathological with its membership of the EU no Irish parliament would be able to pass a humane budget anyway. What's going to happen with mass migration that will put major pressure on services and housing, crime etc?. I too always voted SF sadly theyve turned their backs on it's own people. They are 100% behind the hundreds of thousands of undocumented fake refugees flooding our country. They have constantly refused to comment on the subject. As a result lost my vote, shame on them they had such potential.

Let them in the others have ahad their time for many years enough is enough. The housing crisis didn't just happened out of know where. It's been going on since 2014 and it's still and issue in 2022.
