About the discussion about the race, mike has the most mature idea I think. I totally agree with you. The way that those parents deal with it might be wrong, but the idea and value you can’t never say that they are wrong. In Canada and most western countries marriage is just between the two persons but in China marriage is more than that - its two families bonding. There’s no right or wrong in this issue but just the elder generation have different stand point. Just culture difference.

I am Pakistani- American. I mainly watch the videos to learn about the culture a little bit and how the guys portray it. But there are many many times that I can relate to the things they act out or the things they talk about, because no matter what there will always be similarities especially in different asian cultures, even though it may not be exactly the same.
