Oksat mieluummin omistajalle. Joskus aisannut ja pätkinyt vahvempia. Videolta ei näy haastavuus samalla tavalla. Joka tapauksessa on lähtö ja maali-> Maalissa😂

something new for me. (not a tree feller) I've been watching billy ray and treeson etc. etc. and they all use humboldt all the time I think it is fair to say. And wedges. first time I"ve seen trees routinely pushed over with that jack thing or pulled down. And that back cut one time seemed to be about 4 inches above the notch corner. All a bit new to me. And this is 'traditional' way? I better look at some more of his. Very good. I like the format. Just watch repeated fellings. I learn from that maybe more than from listening to talk.

That’s the thing, we work differently in different continents. The main reason for difference is the environment and trees 🌳 🌲🌴🎄🎋 Welcome to my channel!

@@FINNISHLUMBERJACK Thanks for the welcome. Yes, I'm learning that you work differently according to environment. I think the Humboldt method in fact is named after a locality. And here and there from the videos I see I hear about this kind of tree having this kind of problem and that kind another and so on.. It is a very interesting and sometimes very dangerous business you men are in. I watch the videos where they climb the trees and my heart is in my mouth the whole time - and I'm just sitting in a chair at home! I will never do it. Maybe once. We have a dead stick on a place we own (in town) probably about one foot in diameter. I might try to bring that down. It leans the way we want already, a bit. I don't even have chainsaw but would use my bowsaw. So I like your method because it will make it easier for me to make the notch in the right direction and with a good corner. And I can cut slowly the back cut with a hand bowsaw, slow is easy. And I'll wedge it over. If I ever do it. :) oh.. what kind? I don't know. Probably some kind of gum. this is Australia I am in.
