I never knew that about spirit and proc rates, that really makes a LOT more sense for all of that stuff. I kind of wish it did have that effect, would have made for a lot of interesting combinations of gear.

Crazy stuff. Having to *run a dungeon* just to access the table for your flasks? They did a bit of flavor like that in Legion with things like The Firmament Stone but still that wasn't *in a dungeon!* No wonder flasks were so expensive, between that and requiring nigh nonexistent herbs.

That Smooth McGroove cover, I think one or two years ago he was interviewed by Crendor about him palying WOW. I believe the Internet Historian used to play it also (tons of wow reference in some of his videos).

I really wish they had kept the original female Troll models. It looks accurate instead of how in final the males and females looked like two separate species. If somebody wants to play a "pretty" female, play a night elf or human. Trolls are ugly and proud of it! :)

Spirit for boosting item proc would have been HUGE! Just imagine how many different playstyles would emerge based off of being able to stack spirit to summon Eskhandar or disorient people in PvP with Dark Edge of Insanity.

I miss Star Wars Galaxies, nice of you to bring it up. Was playing it before WoW came along, my first mmo experience. I still miss the early days of it when everyone was just figuring out what to do and everyone was really close because of it. I'd group up in leveling parties and we'd go run around the planet of Tatooine. One of us would set up a camp near where we decided to farm, like the Tusken Raider Fort.

One thing though: why so many people (including you) like to refer to patches like those as "point one two" instead of "point twelve"? I always get confused between ".12" and ".1.2" when it happens! One question though: WIth all these Talent changes in previous patches. Did people got a refund on them every time they changed it. I can't remember how resetting talents went. I believe it wasn't all for free, as I said, can't remember. Great video, thanks a lot!

There is so much goodies in these old patches and later that could be included in a version of wow classic , zones , skins ,talents unrested xp , bouncy breast on rp server , etc

How do people find the idea about since Wow Classic will be in phases and thus reach an "end", instead of being stuck in the same phase forever, or just restarting, Blizzard start adding content, either completely new or implementing TBC and later WotLK servers in a way where everyone can be happy? As much as I'm happy with absolute no changes NOW, I can see myself welcome some new content when we are a year into Naxx and "everything" reasonable has been experienced.

Just a correction. You are forgetting that most guilds DID NOT use master looter in classic because it was bugged bad. Sometime you couldn’t even give loot to players aswell as many other problems. So guilds revolved this by putting it on group loot, having everyone pass and the winner of the loot item from DKP for example, would just loot the item from the corpse. That’s why guilds got ninja looted a lot more back in the day. Because they could just run upto the mob and loot it. And yes free for all would work too.

Spirit increasing item procc percantage sounds really interesting. Now certain stats weights make much more sense, but I guess a warrior with hand of justice and a lot of Spirit would result in more oneshot videos then windfury did.

The reason there was _"melee"_ damage boost for casters was because back then and iirc even up to 1.something elemental damage boost for casters affected enchants that did that elements damage... so seeing a mage or lock whack a sword and suddenly do buttload of elemental damage was not unheard of .. many of my own killing blows (PvP or pve) were from that sword swing doing a chunk of fire damage almost equal to a fireblast or scotch haha 😎 Edit : did you just say SHcolomance @ 10:24? 🤣💚 Edit 2 : please hurry to the next one mad. My morning coffee and... err other things is just not the same without your awesome videos! Thanks as always!

I think in these patches is when Indalamar got fury warriors nerfed. For good reason, because holy crap those early fury talents just annihilated everything. I also remember some people in the beta were upset with the reveal of the sub fee with WOW because it was higher than other MMOs at the time. So that does kinda suck, especially since it's now standard. I still think it's crazy (and funny) how good the first pass of those level 60 fury talents were though. I don't remember everything on it, but I think bloodthirst was a pretty strong self-buff after you got a kill, and improved cleave let your cleaves hit like 5 extra targets instead of just 1, and pile that on with all the big burst damage crits and it just resulted in high level fury warriors being unstoppable DPS machines. IIRC warlock talents were mostly the same for destro from those beta patches up to the redo/revamp by 1.12, affliction might have gotten some improvements (but not many) but demonology was felhunter poop when it first came out. But by the retail talent revamp for them, demonology became pretty solid, arguably the best for raiding and definitely the best for PVP (I'd pretty much just do 0/30/21 for raiding, and get soul link for PVP).

I remember playing back then and beeing hyped for the release. Any other beta-peeps around?
