I expected them to break as well. I think I can fix these plastic hubs and hopefully they hold up.

@@RunThatRC RC is an addiction period lol. My wife hates it but loves it at the same time because it binds me and my son. He now wants to build one too, or mod one. I’m thinking about getting him one of the rtr version for 35 bucks and letting him do the upgrades himself. It’s good clean fun 😁

its actually 3d printed wheels. Method style wheels and the tires are wpl kit tires with lugs cut off to make it look like a mud tire.

I have one that just has the 2 speed setup with a better esc and it handles its own. These can do some cool crawling but will not hang with a 10th scale only because its smaller. I have climbed some stuff I didn't expect to make it up and it does. These axles slow down this rig too much. They shouldn't have made the axle gear ratio so low so it doesn't loose more speed. Would have been better without gear reduction imo.

if you dont have a programmable transmitter to reverse the throttle channel you will either need to flip axles or flip the motor wires around to get the proper motor direction you need.

I always recommend a KM kit version as it has everything I use in my builds and if you can swing a 1060 esc and tx/rx it will make the 2 speed run well.

The portal axles give it a lift.

I have heard of them never looked them up. I'm probably going to repair these and see how that goes before I ditch the hubs for metal ones.

are those for 1\10 scale or wpl 1\16? i havent seen metal versions for smaller vehicles but wider stance has given me ideas...
