Cody, this old man is very envious of your land and especially your tractor and all the attachments you now have for it. Although I may be envious, I am so glad I stumbled over your channel when I first really started watching KZfaq. You are living what I had dreamed of doing about 50 years ago. I never achieved that dream, because other dreams came to fruition as I got older. I love the stewardship you have for your property and I really love the way you work together as a loving family. God's continued blessing on you, Mrs. W and Jack.

The satisfaction you receive from putting in a days worth of hard work and you examine the dramatic fruits of your labor as you pack up your tools. You then go home to clean up,put on fresh clean clothes to spend the evening eating a good meal and relaxing with the family. Truly the best feeing in the world. Thanks for this very satisfying video.

I have been dreaming of homesteading myself but I have not been able to live that dream for many reasons. Watching your channel is as close as I will get to doing it myself. Please keep them coming, I have watched every video of yours in the last week or two. The bond you are building with Jack will never be broken and will continue to get stronger as you teach him more and mold him into a good man. I wish I had that type of relationship with my father.

This reminded me so much of my youth with my Grandfather as he taught me so many things. He never lost his composure, even when things didn't work out so well. He just corrected, taught, and imparted wisdom. So many things still resonate in me, even 45 years later. Thank you.

Cody, not that there has ever been a question about the quality of videos you make but if people are watching them for the fine cinematography then they are watching for the wrong reason. This is one of the few channels i sub that you can tell you truly love your family and what you are doing and that is great.

A couple of years ago, the notion of following a family's weekly or daily doings would have been incomprehensible to me. A day in the life of? Yeah I could see that. But I never would have thought this notion, done in a continuous manner, would ever be largely popular. Shows how much I know. It's a real pleasure following you and your family sir. Y'all are great Americans. I will continue to follow for as long as you continue to provide content.

Jacks drone footage was awesome. Gave an interesting perspective on the work you were doing around the homestead. I like the bit at the end, as I feel the same way. I feel in watching your videos that I have a friend of sorts who is here to teach me things and I also find comfort in some of the simple videos. Things like clearing brush or watching you sharpen a knife or axe provides me a sense of comfort, its a chance to slow down and think of things.

Cody it's great to see that young man holding that axe with hands apart learning to use it properly and under total control. I see to many youngsters in my area attempting to swing too hard with hands together. They are shocked when I show them the top hand starts just under the head and the slides down to meet the dominant hand. Amen on the safety of dropping that tree! Same care and safety should be used regardless if the tree is 4" or 40".

Something is very satisfying about a Brush Hog. Also called a Bush Hog. Also called a Woods Mower (around these parts). I have one I bought in 1991, clapped out mess, and rebuilt by me for nearly zero money. Been workin fine behind my 1957 IH 330 Utility tractor since then. Bought the tractor in 1990 for $950 and split it, replaced a couple gears in the rear end. Been workin fine ever since. This video gives me a hankerin to get the 330 out and do a bit of Brush Hoggin. Very satisfying.....
