Very, very nice. Did the same for my wife, a little different, and I got more joy seeing her smile than actually doing the work. I used old nails, scrap wood, used screws, and an old piece of plywood I cut down to make a small roof to cover the tools. It doesn't look new or fancy but it works great and she loves it, which is all that matters.

A place for every thing and every thing in its place. My fly tying bench is the same way, after years of disorganization and running to the fly shop for something that I already had some place, I learned my lesson it just took 30 years to do.

Love the video man! I also loved what you said about bringing order out of chaos, but I'd just alter that a bit to say, you need to IMPOSE order upon chaos. If you let chaos reign, it will never order itself and your life will be a mess. So we need to apply order to it, which is what great gardening is all about.

Great job.. Just to add something to this story. I work on a friend's dairy farm here in Switzerland when he needs help. One thing I learned was they keep their shovels in the barn in a bucket of water. keeps the shovels clean after shovelling manure.

Looks great! I did a stint in a recycling plant and after my six months was up, I had amassed a huge collection of various hangers from store displays and whatnot that have been immensely useful for helping to organize my workshop. For our small garden tools I put up something like a towel rack, then stripped a bunch of thick copper wire from very old appliances which I fashioned into semi-ornate hooks that can slide back and forth on the bar.

Cody, Great tool rack for sure! Consider turning that brush axe over though. I don't want anyone taking a trip to the emergency room for a vertical laugh-line in their forehead :( Do one of your "Cody farm-fixes" we have all come to love so much. You know, 1/4 inch hole in the handle with a slight chamfer to keep the leather lanyard from premature wear. There, hung by the handle the greatest risk is a sore toe :) All the best, J.
