Hey Cody! Can you try the Fanttik cordless air compressor? There is a full sized and a mini. Curious how handy it is in a real world application.

I would add a can of electrical parts cleaner, for when you need to clean plastics where the brake cleaner would damage.

I was gonna say that looks an awful lot like the classic worlds best glass cleaner, you have confirmed my suspicions! I guess they must still have an active patent or no other company can quite get there because I haven't come across a similar product that foams in that specific way, yet doesn't stain or streak terribly 🤔 Every time I'm at a hardware store, supply store etc. that sells it and see someone reach beside and grab something like windex or ammonia glass cleaner I just quietly watch in disappointment 😆

@@backyardworker for cosmetic and water repellancy? Griot’s Garage glass sealant. Works wonders on filling in microscopic pits and makes any piece of glass extremely resistant to water. If you are talking about an industrial grade sealant to adhere a windshield or back-glass onto a pinch weld, DOW ExpressBP is great.

@@chriscroley9279 I agree but it's impossible once you have a garage to then downsize with intentions to get a garage. It's been one of the most disorganized disasters I've ever had to deal with. My tools are scattered in bags among vehicles and in tubs. Thankfully I'm in the right direction to have a 32x48 shop built. I've dealt with this for going on 6 years with this agony.

I've habitually done this for years, also keeps the tensions off the valve stem. But it bit me a few years ago when I shut down the gate valve between my home heating oil tank and furnace to replace the inline filter. All went well, spun the gate valve back open, then cracked it back a quarter turn. Well, a month later I couldn't figure out why my furnace was running rough, sounded terrible, tech was pouring over the whole thing couldn't figure out what was wrong until he found that gate valve almost closed. The vibration from the furnace had slowly spun it down until it was starving the blower.

Yeah. That is a good one. You don't have to go a full quarter turn usually but at least a little bit. Even temperature change can cause valves to jam when they are all the way open.

I was taught this except for gas bottles. Like propane, acetylene, butane, ect. Only open those a one full turn, since their pressure is regulated down right away one full turn is plenty and it's way faster to turn off if something gets out of control.

Yes, I always do this. Do you do it for propane tanks as well? (your English is great)

Try an elastopolymer E6000 or gorillas version along with clear Lexel, lexel sticks to everything... or even better some loctite polyurethane construction adhesive, the "3x blah blah blah" is the best version for the money/versatility... The basic stuff doesn't flex well and the higher end overpriced stuff is only useful for immediate tack, not ultimate strength. Happy adhering 😉👍

@@berryreading4809 unfortunately I've tried gorilla glue and PL Premium (both max and 3). As well as T-88. I have probably 4 or 5 of those trays from various brands over the years. Relatives consider them an easy gift idea. I'm just hard on them. They bounce around in toolboxes and bags, trucks, tractors, etc and eventually break, or get stuck to and pulled from different components so many times it eventually breaks free. I'm sure temp expansion and contraction in the tray doesn't help.

@@gexploits not gorilla glue, gorillas version of E6000 (similar to shoegoo) Lexel doesn't have the ultimate shear strength, but has incredible bond strength and sealant properties, honestly better than E6000 although not rated for the same industrial applications... But as you say nothing beats mechanical fastening at the end of the day 😉👍 also my favorite fastener trays lately have become the silicone style collapsible with embedded magnets, both kinds have their place, but for my service boxes/any travel tool boxes I have the collapsible trays are invaluable... They too though have a weak point across most brands, the top reinforcement ring tends to separate or fail after extended use, no great fix that will ever make it like new around chemicals and oil, so I usually rotate those to the "projects taken apart that I'll definitely get around to fixing later" shelves 😄🤦‍♂️ One day I'll have the time, maybe after I'm dead I'll get started on it 🤣

I like that the magnet separates from the bowl. Makes it easy to empty the bowl.

You'd have to be dropped on your head to buy that simple cart with some bent tubing and sheet metal pans for >$700 30+ years ago. I buy stupid expensive tools, but that's almost like snap on us using it to figure out who they can really sink their teeth into. If they buy that, snap on knows they'll buy ANYTHING.
