not so much in the long term but. Edge, Chris Benoit and Beth Phoenix both have a major ties to one specific arena when it came to end of careers. Edge's last official match before his first retirement took place at the same arena as Chris Benoit's. Time Warner Cable arena/Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC. Now on paper Edge's last match was at WM27 however two nights later he participated in a 8 man tag team dark match after SD went off the air. Now Edge did come out of retirement eventually but not full time. We of course all know the Benoit situation but his last match was on ECW in the arena less then a week before what he did. Beth Phoenix's last match fulltime was in the same arena as her husband when she lost a match and was fired backstage. But whats crazier was probably her first on screen appearance happened at the same arena. when she appeared as a "fan" during a Sunday Night Heat where she was "picked" from the audience to do some HLA with a young Shelly Martinez. So you can say her career was bookmarked in Charlotte NC
