WWE is just a hypocritical cesspool. Brawl 4 All was supposed to celebrate the best brawler, homebrew from its very own organization yet they ended up burying the champion Bart Gunn. Tough Enough was supposed to celebrate who was the toughest competitor yet they beat up one of their contestants for being tough in a shoot.

I'd always thought Butterbean was kind of a joke...like that name, plus the guy was built like a peanut M&M...but he was the real deal, hard core. He might not be Muhammed Ali, but if you could beat him, you were absolutely a tough, legit boxer. It was absolutely not cool to put Bart Gunn in there against him unscripted. Geez, why weren't they using Dan Severn or Ken Shamrock for this angle?

Dusty Rhodes shutting down Stephanie was brutal
@mycahjofficial
@mycahjofficial 2 ай бұрын
Deservedly so. Dusty giving Stephanie a taste of her own medicine will always put a huge smile on my face. Stephanie McMahon was the most insufferable character in WWE from 2013 to 2017. Much like Michael Cole during his dreadful heel run from 2010-12, she was just nothing but go away heat because every single segment with her was so frustrating because the way she would always make herself look like a million bucks at the expensive making other wrestlers look foolish. Those were some very rough times.

BECAUSE THEY ARE SPORTS ENTERTAINERS!! although WWE is promoted as pro wrestling WWE is NOT professional wrestling. Professional wrestlers are ACTUAL amateur wrestlers, Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, or can at least perform amateur wrestling like HBK, Austin, the Harts or Benoit could, these new WWE dudes are amateur stuntmen AT BEST. It is actually extremely disrespectful to real wrestlers and the sport to call those fuggin dweebs that can’t even correctly execute a simple grapple lock up, wrestlers. They take themselves TOO seriously and so do y’all and that’s a big reason why it’s so corny now. Smfh

I was hoping to see the Big Cass segment on this list because he was red hot at the time and was being pushed well. That was a great era in WWE. Also, about the Bart Gunn WM match. Gunn wasn’t booked at all following brawl for all so any momentum from his win already was squashed immediately. I don’t think they knew what to do with him after the win since it wasn’t the plan. WWF was heavily involved in other stories at the time so I don’t think their priorities were on Bart which was a shame because it could have skyrocketed his career. He seemed to do really well on the mic.

The way they treated Bart Gunn in WWE has to be the second worst thing to ever happen in WWE after what happened to Owen Hart.

say what you wanna say about McMahon, but ain't no way someone rebels against everyone backstage and doing shots on biggest ppv like "this is real glass, go cry me a river " and get away with it

I don’t get how people suck up to Dusty with what he did with Steph but do people not remember what a self serving booker he was himself? Just went to business for himself a la Bruce Hart

I'll never forget the Nexus fallout. The internet exploded in support of DB. The downfall of WWE. It was such a good angle and Vince shit on it b/c of PC nonsense and Benoit's CTE *Edit Saying "Vince shit on it" was a poor choice of words. Too soon.
