Its good to see most of your passengers saying thank you. Bus appears quite rapid but sucks to be limited to 43
@SALEH_4K_POV
@SALEH_4K_POV 3 ай бұрын
It's rapid when it picks up the speed but very slow when moving off, the 43 MPH doesn't affect me really as the max speed on this route is 40MPH though the restricted buses are much slower than the ones that are not

As a driver in London these streetdecks have got to be some of the worst buses I’ve ever driven. Idk what they’re like up where you drive but down here they’re unreliable as hell the brakes feel none existent the buses are very jerky. Horrible buses 👎🏽

The streetdecks I drive are definitely the most unreliable compared to everything else they have here, but the brakes are good on these ones, I've noticed even within Streetdeck buses some of them feel really nice to drive and other absolute terrible even though they are of the same year and similar milage

Lots of warning lights. Is there an engine problem? Also why do you have to jab brake pedal before you can set off ? Sorry im not a bus driver and never experienced an automatic. Also why don't busses steer straight ?
@SALEH_4K_POV
@SALEH_4K_POV 3 ай бұрын
The warning lights are just sensor faults (it must be) because almost 70% of these Wright buses always have something on the dash, jabbing the brake before moving off is a safety feature so that the driver doesn't accidentally roll off without being 100% sure he wants to move, the steering is straight if you didn't touch it it would still go straight but the steering wheel has been fitted a bit rotated or it just rotated over time...

@SALEH_4K_POV Thanks for that. I've always wanted to have a bus as a motor home (National mk2 if anybody wants to give one away 😆) and grew up watching the simple dash of the lodekka (none) vr (square box) and leyland . None of this fancy kneeling and computers! Good Times. Loved your video . Keep up the good work.👍

Training takes a couple of weeks to acc work for a company but tests can take up to a year
@SALEH_4K_POV
@SALEH_4K_POV 3 ай бұрын
They give 1 or 2 weeks to everyone training to study and pass their theory and then about 3 to 4 weeks of practical training ending with a driving test after that another 1 week of site/garage/station introduction and learning how to drive all the different buses they have (how to turn it on etc...) and then route learning can be from 1 week to 4 weeks, depending on the company and how many routes they want you to learn
