I hope that you enjoyed this chatty vlog / study with me / be productive with me. I love filming these sorts of videos, and so I hope that you enjoy watching them as well!
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND that, since joining university, it has become very unusual for me to do this much studying in a day. I had quite a busy week following this particular day and so I wanted to get the essay completely done and out of the way :)

There are two really good books on writing essays, one is Plan your essay (Palgrave) and the other is Studying English Literature, A practical guide (Cambridge University Press), just in case it’s urgent. I hope it’s helpful!

I would actually be so interested in listening to you reading out loud an essay you're proud of/you really like! As a student who doesn't live in Britain I can hardly imagine what the essays you have to write are about and how they are structured...

Regarding referencing and citing: It's best to do it straight away as you write, or include the information in a comment, right after the citation. That way you can just do a final checkup at the end and don't waste precious time checking all the references pages etc. Also, Mendeley is a fantastic tool, especially for longer essays, thesis writing and articles. Every time I watch one of your videos I think "I want to be like Ruby when I grow up", but then I remember that I'm on my 3rd semester at college already so kinda late for that, though I do think that your videos helped me to be a lot more productive over the last year, so I'm really thankful for that! =D Love from Brazil =)

Honestly I'm so glad I found your channel! You made me so much more motivated to do my school work and try and achieve the best version of myself that I can! I've never separated my clothes- I use laundry pods because the washing machine doesn't take detergent very well and those things are a precious resource lol

Love that shirt! I just want to say you have helped me get my anxiety under control that has literally been crippling since I was 11 (I’m 23) because of you in the past 2 weeks (I’ve found you then) I have gotten to the dr for meds (anxiety prevented me from this) I’ve got my life totally organized with planners. I started horse back riding (dream of my that anxiety prevented) I’m starting college in the fall (something I’ve attempted many times) I eat regularly and do fitness regularly and in general I’m so much happier and healthier. I’m reading and so much more. Thank you ruby for being you and sharing yourself with the world! You have change my life more than I can explain! Thank you so much!

I can reccomend the Sainsbury’s or Holland and Barrett quick soup mix. Packed with lentils, barley and pasta and just get some nice organic veggie stock cubes and u can slow cooker it while at a lecture :-) it’s what I do when I’m working on an essay :-)

Can u plz do a video on how u prioritise everything so well... like studying, vlogging, wondering with friends, organising etc. without getting distracted from ur aim. My biggest problem is the same. If i indulged my self in something then I completely forgot about my study and just do that particular activity for many days.😊 Plz it's my huge request or just give me an idea about that. You’ve probably heard this before but I really recommend lists - sit down right now ad make a list of everything that you need to do (e.g. homework, revision e.t.c.) Prioritise them: for example at the top of your list you might have homework due the next day. Do whatever you want with your social life, but MAKE SURE that you have done your list at some point. You probably haven’t read this or if you even have you won’t try it but yeah hi 👋 😂 Also please comment if you actually do it just because it would interest me. Imma stop typing now 😂

@@lilaxjsjsns Thanks alot I will definitely going to try ❤ BTW I tried it but as I defined myself I m just like a person who failed to follow my to do lists up to full and that's my biggest mistake. I came to know about to do lists through ruby's videos and tried it for my 1 year academic session and it works best but I need some improvement in myself. I just want to tell as I followed this tip and my friends also started doing same. That's made me feel proud😂 Once again thanks for ur suggestion and loved u ruby for changing my life upto such a great extent. ❤🔥

USE REFERENCING SOFTWARE! I say this as a postgraduate, it will save you so much time and it's all saved for future essays that way. I love Mendeley!

Just a idea: When you buy a clothes drying rack you help the planet a lot more as with using the dryer (saving energy, you don't need a laundry dryer which can't be recycled well and you also save money and so on...).
