In today's lesson we'll discuss how the Beatles wrote Blackbird. Well, to be honest, I have no idea how exactly it was written, but if we follow some very simple ideas we'll see how it "emerges" almost naturally through our playing. We'll talk about diatonic (within-scale) and chromatic motion, planing, motion in 3rds and in 6ths, and present examples from the rich repertoire of The Beatles.

I've been "stuck" on Burgmüller for a while. But I'm transposing them into all keys to learn the keyboard, as well as the fretboard. La Candeur is the pentatonic scale. Arabesque is a way to learn minor. La Pastorale is a beautiful melody. La Petite Réunion is like this lesson, and exercise in thirds, but also the relationship of the Dominant and Diminished pentatonic scales. Innocense is a scale exercise, while Progrés is also this lesson since the scales are in tenths. Or it could be modal? I thought of creating little exercises and taking them around the circle of fourths. Your video is very inspiring.
