Loved the interview as I am an Aussie and huge Ash Barty fan. The interview was spotlit by the background music all the way through the interview. Chris did a great job interviewing Ash. The Music made it hard to hear both of them in places.

Another really great interview, this time with Ash Barty. Ash has a lovely way about her and I am sure that Australians are proud of the way Ash acts win or lose. Thanks.

Ash is such a great role model. So glad she came back. Shame about the recent injury. She was looking to win that French open again. Hopefully she kicks arse the rest of the year.

Love these. Have loved Chrissie since I was a little boy in the 70's. She's doing a good job here. Great interviewer. But what stands out, for me, is to see all these amazing laddies unfiltered & having fun & really being honest. We are getting to see sides, of many of them, that I never thought existed Keep them coming

So much talent in women's tennis at the moment, but easy to see why Ash is #1. Sure know if it was me, I would not want go up against her. Great to watch. Off the court, just feels like she'd be someone awesome to meet. Just a down to earth great human being. Thanks Chris. Thanks Ash

Well done Ashley Barty. You have the all round game and focus and you thoroughly deserve your two slam titles. I'm so impressed with Chris Evert too. This series with her as host and interviewer, talking to female champions has really brought out a likeable personality that we never saw on court. She's very warm and charming with has great appreciation for the history of game and other players. On court she was the "ice maiden" with absolutely no expression. This role of interviewer and bastion of the sport of tennis is doing no end of good for her street cred.

I have always taken a liking to Ash, now I know why. She's so laid back and just gets the job done without any theatrics, such a great role model for want to be future champions. Thank you Chrissy for this wonderful interview, I still like you too.

And hey, want to add. If Chris sees this I owe her a thanks also. Grew up being told tennis was a game for rich kids, a game for sissy's. Worked on the farm so Sunday was the only day I took off. Watched a Borg, McEnroe match one Sunday and did a 180. Then Martina and Chris brought me to women's tennis. Thanks Chris. Really starting to think tennis is the greatest game of all.

Barty has the most predictable responses to every question. Not one original response - just a formula for what to say. She seems intelligent, but errs on the side of self-protection. Does not engender warmth or likeability.

Why is she the first. I just want to hear from legends. And where the fuck is Steffi, Billie Jean, Margaret Court. No interest in those who win a grand slam or are no.1 for 5 minutes.
