That salon needs to be investigated, state board needs to be called and visit, they should be HEAVILY fined at the bare minimum. Police also need to bring them in to the PD and be interrogated and ordered to go ifo a judge for crimes. They assaulted a 6 y.o. for God's sake, that is a crime in itself. State board should revoke their cosmetologist licenses and the salon should be closed down. Also they need to fully reimburse the mom the $ and repairs for the car damage. Im a cosmetologist of 26 years, this is very disturbing!

The stylist was already on BS. Something that take 3 to 4 hours to do took her 10 hours to complete. Stylist do charge if the session goes over the hours it take to do the hair style. For an example if you pay 200 for a style that takes 2 hours and the stylist is not done within 2 hours you will be charged. It's not your fault that they didn't finish but they will still charge you. I hope the mom press charges because it is indeed assault.

If I pay for new tires and installation, they say will take 1 hour and it takes 3, Why am I paying the extra up for their time when I already paid for installation?

Nah I’ve never paid for the stylist going over their time, if anything that stylist will discount me because they took longer than the time they suggested it would be & a tip is optional, you are not required to tip especially for mediocre service. She definitely should get jail time. This behavior towards a child is unacceptable & she got paid!!!

@@LoveeMi4evaThat makes the story even worse. 1 child gets braids but it takes too long resulting in no tip. 2 on the way out a third party attacks the child by cutting off the braids. 3 the hairstylist still chases the mother daughter to the car damaging the door handle handle attempting to break in. 4 men with guns (not cops) arrive at the scene causing extreme fear and duress. ALL OF THIS FOR A TIP? Why are criminal charges not included with this story? Why does it end with the mom pushing the little girl on a swing? Shouldn't the mom be demonstrating how to fight back using the law in addition to crying to the news? Why isn't the name of the business included in the report? Who, what, when, where, why and how. The core questions that any story needs ask and answer. This story just leaves us confused with unanswered questions.

She broke the handle and called people to the shop that she knew have guns all over one payment. The lady more than likely DID not pay the whole 135.00 and or also refused to tip. The story is incomplete. I believe the stylist finished, the mom was not satisfied with the style and the length of time it took to complete so she tells the stylist- I will either pay you half or not paying at all because it took 10 hours. Then the stylist was probably enraged and then cut the girls hair and braids. So the mom knew she had to get her kid and go, that’s when the filming begins… the little girl says “Why would you do that!?” I’m guessing the girl is asking the stylist why would she cut her hair. It all got messy. But for reference people should always have clear communication about price and expectations way before payment is involved to avoid this.

I hope she pressed charges. No one is entitled to a tip which is optional. Tip is based on your how well you did providing a service. The cost of the service is the cost of providing the service which is required. I see multiply charges between the stylist and the friend

Full story: the mom said she wasn’t satisfied with the style and she wasn’t going to tip. The stylist then got mad and tried to block her from leaving out the front door, she grabbed the daughter’s arm. The mom finally got herself and the daughter outside the building, the stylist followed them outside to the car she had people surround the moms car which prevented her from leaving and that’s why she started to record. Yea I was thinking she only partially paid her because it took too long. But then why would she lie about the payment amount when there is proof that they agreed on a certain price and then how much she actually paid. I want to hear the other ladies side

I was a hair dresser for years. Can't force anyone to tip but prices are what you make it. If it's supposed to be 4 hours and ended up 10. Yeah I would get it. I would never behave like that. That's a kid bruh for someone to surround a mom and kid with guns. That's insane. They better be in jail

Why would she need to tip? She paid the price for the service? Countries that require tipping need to ween out that practice. Just charge what you need to charge to cover your time, supplies, and effort. If you need tips to survive you’re not charging enough. That being said, going this postal for not receiving a tip (and assaulting the young girl by cutting her braids) is insanely asinine behaviour. Jail time baby!
