Ting Chu (king) is escorted from shaolin temple to White Stone Town by "Chee Ung" (Wang Tao). Commander in Chief (Yi) wants him for being a traitor and he wants him ALIVE ! Along the way he is helped by his other brothers (see description). "Sho Wa" (Chia) helps as the chief's top 2 men Brig General Chow (Kar Yen) and Captain of the guards along with dozens of soldiers. There is fighting going on constantly and no boring parts. Many many commenters rave this a top notch movie & stars ! Wu Tang also has this movie with REAL language & clear subtitles under the same name. NOTE: Wu Tang also offers this movie in Mandarin with excellent English Subtitles & with the word TEN or 10 Brothers of Shaolin.

Takes me back to late night cinema on a Friday night good times the best films Iron Monkey,Shaolin Plot, Warriors 2....& many more still watching them 40odd years later 👍🏿💥

Twin warriors where one becomes the imperial commandor and the other learns tai chi after the older one almost kills him. That was one of my favorites all time. All the jackie drunken master variations too. I'm at about 20odd years later so your list is probably filled with gems I missed. Red Dragon Pavillon and The Five Deadly venoms is a must as well.

His name is Chang-Yi...One of my most favorite martial arts cinema actors PERIOD ! The ultimate "Silver fox"!...Not taking anything away from Gordon Liu, But I always thought Chang Yi should have played "Pai Mei" in the movie "Kill Bill". Wang tao kung funny has always have a unique and deadly and superior style. Noticeable, very few of his movie were not boring or lack skilled type bases. In my opinion has best movies based on story, high level art and messages were: Secret Rivals, Death Duel of Kung Fu, Fatal Needles Fatal Fist, The Hot, the Cool and the vicious and Along came a tiger. Are his best work. Tommy lee is amazing.😎

"He was killed by a special type of Chinese Karate." wut. This film is visually stunning but that line really threw me off 😂 Chinese martial arts are at least 4,000 years old. Japanese karate is at least 4 or 500 years old when it was founded in Okinawa. Although its speculated it was inspired by Kung Fu during the Ming Dynasty.

It was a part of the movie I didn't like about this particular movie was the translation .I kind of thought that was a backhanded way for Christianity to sneak their God crap into the movie because ,Buddhist don't say in God name we praise. they say in Buddhist name we pray. always felt that the translation was dishonest and tried to throw Christian nonsense into the movie.
