Director : Wu Min-Hsiung
Cast: Polly Shang Kwan Ling Feng, Carter Wong, Pai Ying.
The year is 1366. The emperor makes a deal with a neighbouring Manchu emperor, leading to a plot to frame patriotic General Shung in a court martial. Shung believes he will receive a fair trial and goes along willingly. But some of his supporters are not so trusting, and they shadow him on his journey to the palace & now the trouble really starts.

I love watching this movie. The General's daughter was a great fighter. She really showed so much affection to his father even risked her life for his father. Thanks for the nice movie

Great comment. Agreed on both count. Carter Wong is so good in certain roles and he has a lot of character too. Polly Shang is a sweetie, she's could be the original blue swallow. She is irresistible and fights hard and clean.

Cater Wang is good at playing good guy and also good at playing bad guy and as for Polly Shang Kwan, she's a killing addict can you imagine having a daughter like that for real, if I should compare her to any American actress it would have to be Betty Davis or yet some other gal that appear in wester movies and really good at shooting. Good Kung Fu movies are like good Cowboy movies, this is a good movie and a Classic.

He is a great actor and you can tell after seeing his many roles that he is a good hearted person in life, whereas some kung fu actors who always play the good guy are sometimes narcissistic and mean in life.

In one movie he plays a butcher who marries a royal princess and she pretends to be a homeless mentally handicapped person, he marries her to satisfy his mother wish that he gets married, then as he avenges the late King he finds out that she is royal princess and bows to her calling her princess. Those are some incredible acting in that movie. He is a very gifted actor with a pure heart. Even when he plays evil, he plays pure evil.

You are a newbie, lol. There are real skills and yes some fantasy skills mixed in those classical movies. I'll take that anyday over today's movies that are 100% fake CGI.
