One cool thing you forget to mention is that in a Royal Rumble/4 player Battle Royale match when it gets down to just four wrestlers left anyone that gets eliminated will act like a lumberjack and will either attempt to pull wrestlers out of the ring or fight the other lumberjack outside. I cool trick I discovered is that in a Triple Threat match if you play with count out on and one of the players gets counted out the match won't end and they'll act as a lumberjack which kind of turns it into a triangle match. Also, winning/defending the belt in a Royal Rumble match will vacate the title.

I covered the vacating titles in one of the other parts. I think the first part. I didn't know about the count out elimination rule. I thought they took count out options out of No Mercy for triple threat matches but I honestly didn't pay attention to that. If you make a 4th one, one secret that you should showcase is how customizing the appearance of a roster member would also reflect in the game's opening video as well, as the intro uses the in game models as opposed to it being a pre-made video. I believe this can also be done with WM 2000 as well.

Yeah it works for all of the AKI games except World Tour. I have two videos in the archives that show this effect off. One is where everyone wears goofy outfits. The other is where almost everyone is The Rock 😂

7:00 apparently the Mankind/Cactus glitch occurs because the game originally was going to include Dude Love, and he would have been the replacement for the opponent's Cactus's role if you're playing as Cactus.

Good videos brother. Your first version of this video taught me about the getting out of the level glitch. I'm thinking i'm going to use that glitch creatively for my show. Good stuff

Yeah would've been nice. But I guess they would have to do 3 different animations for the one move. And have some special trigger for the Rock since I assume it would've worked like Mankind.

@@beanomac3126 I typically stay away from glitchy tricks (especially with my No Mercy cart, lol). I honestly didn't know a few of your secrets; Giant Weapons, the names to the CAW Faces and Steal Tag Partner Finisher (that one alone added hours of game play to the game). You're A Legend Homie

One thing I always wondered was why The Godfather had a Super Shoulder Breaker as a finisher instead of his signature “Pimp Drop.” I remember being able to by the finisher in the Smackdown mall or whatever, but he should’ve had his finisher from the start.

not really a secret just thought id like to mention alot of the bonus non-wwf faces were carried over from VPW2. its cool seeing them in that game with the wm2000 style wrestler models

A clever reuse of assets for sure! It adds more chance for differentiating your character from the base roster and creating Japan superstars! I say it's a win win!

About the Ladder match. It's not actually bugged, That is all intended. The WWE The Rules are WHOEVER Grabs the briefcase from a ladder REGARDLESS of who is legally in the match, is the WINNER of the contents. It is absolutely by design that the Manager can win the Championship from under his clients and their opponents nose, because this is an ACTUAL WWE Rule.

You're right about that being an actual rule in WWE. I remember when James Ellsworth won that way. However someone from outside the match winning a ladder match was unheard of in 2000 and considering all the hoops you have to jump through to make the manager win even a possibility definitely illustrates that it was not intended. The match ending in a draw also solidifies the point as well. Managers aren't even able to enter the ring unless forcibly pushed into it. Plus even if intended, what would the point be from a gameplay perspective. The CPU will never attempt to win because it is not in the coding.

I love the N64 wrestling games and No Mercy is obviously up there. Brooo do Tekken 8!!! Only a couple of weeks until it's out so content for that game will be popping. GGs

I had WM2000 and i remember hitting Z button made the cpu take over in royale rumble. I remember another person telling me to hold C-up and C-down and Z to take back the character. Anyway, this also works with managers. Controller for player 1 manager and controller 4 for player 2 manager. Not so sure about L and R and Z with C-up... But hey, i got my shit outta Nontendo Power back in the day. Ever since WCW/nWo Revenge its worked.

Yeah maybe for me it was emulator issues. When I played Revenge it was only Z but they seem to have added more buttons to press as the games kept coming out. I have more secrets videos on Revenge, WrestleMania 2000, and No Mercy so check those out of you enjoyed this one and thanks for Watching!

@@beanomac3126 i remember there were fake codes running around back in the day on how to unlock Owen Hart and Hulk Hogan for No Mercy, also you could supposedly get the smoking skull belt or acquire the hos for free by throwing the belt into the crowd with godfather. I know none of it is real, but the smoking skull belt may still be in the game somewhere... If you have any information on that, I would love to see it.

Physically no, the Smoking Skull cannot be used as a weapon if that is what was being suggested. It is in the game however as whenever Stone Cold is the WWF Champion, the Smoking Skull title replaces the regular WWF belt on the selection screen and on Stone Cold's shoulder during his entrance.

I don't know if you've already covered it, but in Crash's information he's listed as being 6'6 and 400 pounds when that's clearly not the case. This references his Super Heavyweight gimmick.

I always wondered if wwf no mercy was supposed to have more backstage areas cause in the boiler room it looks as if you could go trough the gate and same with the parking lot. If there was ment to be more

It's always possible. Lots of concepts don't make it into a game. I think in this case it's reusing assets but it's entirely possible the backstage was or did look completely different at one point. We'll likely never know. Unless some releases a beta to the public.

Also unsued theme slots we're added into 2.1 mod i using vpw studio one of titrations said big show if was cut from the game bet the mod creator could add titrations to the game too I'm not sure if there still working on thr mod 2.1.

Thats amazing you showed the male faces, how about the females? I know Lillian Garcia and Luna Vachon are createdable as well. I have a list somewhere that has faces and names but im missing like 3 males and 4 female faces. Oh! And Victoria is featured as one of the hos.

Yeah I looked it up myself but most of the faces were missing. I'm not great at facial detection myself especially for the ladies. Im not a fan of the women especially during the diva era.

Also I do remember Victoria being featured during the save the Hos storyline with RTC. There was another one that was powerbombed through a table by the Dudleys but they rarely said her name so I don't remember what Victoria's prostitute partner's name was.

To get around the erase bug. Don't use your CAW in story mode and also don't wrestle at the Armageddon and backlash ppv.

Some storylines have you wrestle at those ppv events. Plus not being able to play certain arenas or use your created wrestlers in whatever modes you want is a massive detriment. Even then I feel like when I had the original copy from back in the day it didn't matter as doing regular matches would cause the game to erase itself anyway. But maybe I'm misremembering.
