There’s many theories on who or what this song is about but basically it’s kinda obvious that the lyrics are implying jimin found a special love by chance and that it was “meant to be” since the beginning of time. He learned hiphop, popping, isolation, contemporary dance, ballet, jazz, traditional dance! And he was the top student in his dance school! And he learned several martial arts such as Japanese kendo 8years, taekwondo and he black belt btw, hapkido, and Chinese martial arts! U will be amazed by his solos and even group songs! He is that talented! And he won 2 awards for his dance (one of them is national award for his dance + he is the only artist to receive a national award for his dance) + he ranked as the best dancer in kpop and took the title for 4 years! BTS don't lip sing, there is some occasions were the backing track will play louder, but they never pretend to sing, and their microphones are never turned off, then when the moment of them needing the backing track for a few seconds, the backing track will be lowered in volume and then you can hear them sing again. Calico cats are almost always female. By being a man calling himself a calico, he's saying how rare he is (and by extension the love affair he's singing about). BTS doesn't lip sync, FWIW. You can hear the backing track when he's dancing too hard to sing, but he picks up the vocals again once he's not flinging himself at the floor. Jimin is amazingly talented. They all are.

Serendipity means a lucky coincidence/unexpected good fortune. Serendipity is often used romantically when you find love unexpectedly (there's an American movie by that name too). It's not lip synced, they have backing tracks but it's very easily differentiable with good live audio, the natural shake in the voice and breathing. His vocals are more airy and soft in this song so it can be harder to differentiate without quality audio. Not a 100% sure on why calico cats specifically but Calico cats are considered lucky in many cultures. Majority are females so it's rare to find a male calico cat so I think it means he's our rare male calico cat which would be very serendipitous to come across.

Yes there is backing track, but no lip syncing. At certain parts he allows it to be just the backing track as he takes in the crowd and dances.
