I think some are missing the point, that Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are Magneto's children as well during the 90's. The only reason they were retconned as not his children, was due to FOX having the movie rights to X-Men and the term mutants. Marvel in their spite, changed them as no longer the children of Magneto, nor were they mutants. Now Marvel has the rights and will likely change it back.

They thought Kitty was the reason the pilot of "Pryde of the X-Men" failed, and led them to tell the production crew of the 90s series to not include her (the crew originally wanted Kitty and Colossus to be part of the main team line up until the execs told them to change them for Rogue and a newly recently debuted in the comics Gambit).

Have the Avengers even formed yet in X-men '97. If they have, I think it's still too much an informal group.

They did that so that they could sneak in extra recognisable characters. In the original scripts the cameo characters would only be referenced as "random mutant", not their actual names. 😂

Call it wishful hoping, but I think it would be great to have Leech as one of the Horsemen. He’s crazy powerful for being able to neutralize any mutant ability. Not to mention the look of horror on Magnetos face, when he has to stop a boy he tried to save. It would also give him some closure as he did manage to save him.

Gonna have to disagree with Black Panther and Doctor Strange. Black Panther was really cool UNTIL they revealed it was actually T'Chaka, which is a really stupid continuity error because he's supposed to already be dead in this universe and T'Challa should have been king for at least a couple of years by this point. Doctor Strange would have been great too except they had to copy the exact same orange magic visuals he uses in the MCU because of their asinine brand synergy, which is minor but extremely irksome to me because MCU synergy has ruined so many shows and comic books that any reference to it at all outside of Earth-199999 is a turn off to me at this point. The eldest were great though (though they still need to explain how Cap is here and not still stuck in that time loop with Red Skull)
