Okay, I'm really digging that they took notes from "E is For Extinction" and "Hellfire Gala" for this episode. It really shows that the producers aren't just fans of Claremont's X-Men work. They're fans of X-Men comic books in general.

Slandering the Krakoa era is ridiculous when you guy forgot what came before with multiple genocide, inhuman takeover, and the whole cyclops is evil narrative they push it before. This people complaining about Grant Morrison era of x-men when before they had to deal with the post Claremont writing and late 90s story nonsense

The girl with the braids who danced with Exodus is Cipher from Academy X! Stating in Young X-Men #9 (2008).She was the sort of hidden member that helped the team silently for behind the scenes. Powers are intangibility, levitation, invisibility, and unable to be detected by psychics! Phoenix even had a hard time finding her psy signature.

We saw Calisto die for sure like her pupil dialted which hurt. Pixie I think is a confirmed survivor at the end. Unsurprising that teleporters faired better than anybody else. I also think Nightcrawler might be joining the X-men. The roster has gotten THIN.

At 1:17, the Morlocks from left to right are: Erg - absorbs energy and fires it from his eye Ape - shapeshifter Tommy - can turn her body 2 dimensional Leech - can negate other mutant's powers

If Pixie does speak, I really hope she's still Welsh, a lot of adaptations of her forget that and give her an American accent, and one of my favourite things about her is that she's from the same country as me, it just reminds me of one of the reasons why I love X-Men, there's a mutant in every nationality, she wouldn't won't speak, but then at least I can pretend she'd have the accent 😂anyway this episode was phenomenal.

@@JamaicanFlava Oh Sorry. I never actually any comics that has Cipher appear. I'm only familiar with Shadow Cat because of the cartoons and movies. But I do hope that Shadow Cat will make her debut in Season 2 of X-Men 97.

@@samflood5631 No worries. Yeah Cipher's first visual appearance I believe was in 2008 in Young X-Men #8 in but she apparently was in the background, invisibly, earlier than that. Cipher is almost like a mutant version of a spirit. 1. She can become intangible, like Kitty, but when she passes through people she shocks them. Also, in this state she can float or fly. 2. She can become invisible to the point where even psychics like Emma can't read her. 3. She can become fully inaudible or only audible to people she wants to.

You been living under a rock then besides this show trying to depict the whole 90's X-Men cartoon animation. It's more continue animation then any anime that is a lifeless drag stick o that stands like a stone for 20 plus episodes thinking what move they do and drags on a situation for weeks to dead with buy eyes with lack of open and close mouths not matching voice actors Expression.
