Rogue was the villain. In her debut, she crippled Carol Danvers and single-handedly more or less took down the Avengers.

@@hidan407 She ambushed and supposedly permanently took Carol/Ms. Marvel’s powers before throwing her off the Golden Gate Bridge. Then she took out Cap and Thor, taking their powers in the process, and attacked the Avengers with the rest of Mystique’s Brotherhood. No one actually beats Rogue. She and Mystique just escape when she loses Cap’s and Thor’s powers/skills. In the comics, the gun that takes Storm’s powers was actually designed with Rogue in mind because she was viewed as a serious national security threat.

@@hidan407 She was a villain for awhile and there was a lot of suspicion from everyone when she defected to the X-Men; particularly from Dazzler because they fought when she was a villain and both had the hots for Longshot. I think dying in Dallas more or less on camera during the Fall of the Mutants story built a lot of good will. I don’t know if there was ever a rematch, but I think Carol still hates her for obvious reasons.

Combining Earth's Mightiest Heroes, fans have been thrilling to their adventures for decades. The title has gone through many permutations, from the West Coast branches to New Avengers to All-New All-Different Avengers. However, the name of the team has always been entirely wrong. The Avengers don't usually avenge anyone. Ironically, a better name would have been the Defenders, a name used by a later Marvel team. In fact, the name Avengers works better in the MCU, since the team decided to become a team to avenge Agent Coulson's death. It's never made much sense in the comics.

That or just cool name. I think there was Avenger Topedo Bomber and maybe wanted to evoke that (like WW2 enthusiast and comics did have overlap). Still, Gyrich would have the team hands tied and Avengers are still part of Shield agency even outside of MCU (at least cooperating with Nick Fury). At least he won’t urinate on otters and try to take over Genosha as private retreat (Nuzlocke’s AvX parody, which is slightly exaggerated version of already contrived storyline).

The director also shared that the creative team considered killing off other mutants before settling on the two fan-favorite characters. "The decision was never finite, like, 'We're doing this, we're killing so and so and that's it.' This might scare fans, but it changed a bit, it bounced around on who it would be because for sake of story, for sake of pushing character arcs and tying everything in, based on where story trajectory was going, [it] was based on what character it was going to be, he explained. "But ultimately, obviously, we landed on Gambit and, Magneto. We know someone, a.k.a. Rogue, who is, especially in our show, who was very much intertwined with both." Castorena explained that fans will need to tune in for the rest of the season to see how the titular team deals with Magneto and Gambit's deaths, hinting that Rogue especially will have a hard time accepting that the two mutants closest to her are gone. "I implore audiences to ponder and be curious about what that would do to someone of Roque's caliber and potentially, I would say focus less on what we have lost and I would focus on more who or what lies ahead, if that makes sense for you," he teased. He continued, "But ultimately, at the end of the day, Gambit and Magneto are dead and we'll have to watch the series unfold to further understand what those consequences are going to be for not just for our team but for potentially for the rest of the world."

But I've been proven wrong before. However what's the direction that they are going with I believe that we might actually get the Onslaught Saga or they might actually bring in Cassandra Nova in the process since they made her introduction and the Deadpool & Wolverine movie.

But again I'm not sure that they will try to bring him back just yet, they might, it's just a matter of time and I want Marvel animation will want to do. Plus there's also been several ideas that's been flowing around at Marvel Studios that this may be a way for them to bring in the mutants into the MCU.

So I have a question, the episodes of the "Six Forgotten Warriors" saga of the Spider-Man animated series, explain the disappearance of Captain America after the Second World War. In this animated version, Captain America and Red Skull were trapped in an interdimensional machine for 50 years. The two are freed from the machine, fight and end up trapped in it again and during the Secret Wars Captain America is one of the heroes chosen by Spider-Man to battle the villains. At the end of the saga, the heroes return to their respective places, Captain America ends up trapped with the Red Skull once again. Then comes the "X" of the question, who is this Captain America? Is he really Steve Rogers or is he one of several captains who adopted the uniform when they thought he was dead? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

In this show and the comics, she started out as a villain. She had an encounter with Carol Danvers aka Ms. Marvel, where she touched her and held on for longer than usual. She permanently absorbed her super strength, durability and flight, as well as her memories. Ms. Marvel actually fell into a coma because of this.
