I’m thinking onslaught next season but I’m wondering if the writers just teased us with this and will still go another direction? Cyclops seem to be the shift. I think rogue Is going to take magneto’s power and fix earth electromagnetic field. Or who thinks if Xavier does take magneto’s evil instead of having him as a vegetable we can get a hero version for an awhile“Joseph”. I know that Joseph became evil but during the onslaught series he was good. Or maybe magneto was cloned

Not to nerd-correct you, but Wolverine didn't go feral as a result of Fatal Attractions. That happened years later during the Onslaught event. Wolverine realized he had bone claws after Fatal Attractions and pretty much lost his healing factor for a while due to being overworked. So, he was slight downgraded and humanized, but not feral.

There’s a comic arc where Magneto removed the adamatium from Wolverine’s bones. When they tried to reapply it, things went wrong and he mutated into something feral

@@jaksuperior2470 In the comics, we find out that the adamantium in his body stunted his healing mutation. After a brief stint of it being "burned out" it comes back even better than before to the point that he can regenerate just about anything. The catch is that his mutation also causes him to physically and mentally regress into a stronger yet even more feral creature that requires him to undergo training to recapture his humanity. It also causes him to leave the team for an extended period of time. I wouldn't be surprised if Disney opts to give Wolverine his own solo series to recount this tale from the comics. Lots of amazing stories to tell!

This is what frustrated me about the MCU, past animated shows, and other Hollywood renditions of our beloved comic book characters and their narrative arcs. Producers and directors often abandoned original storylines, powers of characters, and even entire canon, and reinvented everything for fear of what won’t sell and in favor or what might sell. But, the truth is that the comics are rich with compelling stories that not only we as fans and lifelong collectors dreamed of seeing animated or in live action some day, but that we knew the world would also love like we do if the stories and characters were presented in canonic fashion. So, for collectors/fans, animated shows and MCU movies have been bitter-sweet to even disappointing. While they were box office hits, we always knew they could do even better or at least just as well without changing everything. X-Men 97 is showing, with its success, that the comic arcs can be not just compelling to people who aren’t diehard comic fans, but the comics have some damned-good stories. For diehard X-Men fans, this show has been a breath of fresh air or that lifelong collector’s dream come true.

Yes but the F.O.H (friends of humanity) supported it. People fear what they don't understand. I'm sure some of us would have done the same as magneto while some would help Xavier.

@@jacktheaujumper5184 That’s why Magneto is wrong. Should humanity not fear a single individual capable of destroying the entire planet on a whim? Or any other mutant for that matter? If they want people to accept them-in such a radically wild imbalance of power-should they not do all they can to show they are not a threat? That’s what Xavier is trying to do. That’s why he’s right. I don’t buy the “people fear what they don’t understand” line. They understand completely, and from an outside perspective, their fears are justified. However, in-universe there are already a LOT of non-mutant people with powers, and for X-Men to work and make sense, mutants have to be contrasted with other heroes the public at large DOESN’T hate and fear. Like the Fantastic Four. They became celebrity heroes. People didn’t fear them: they loved them-despite their strange abilities. For the public to hate mutants, it has to be because of something other than fear. In a world where there are many people with powers, why are mutants hated specifically? It has to be some other kind of prejudice. Fear WOULD seem to be the correct response to ALL people with superpowers in their universe, but as people are okay with some but not others, it’s got to be something else.

And Cyclops absolutely blew the whole mission by being too emotional

At this point he was able to manipulate the minerals inside other people bodies... so no doubt that he can move solid rocks just by manipulating the minerals inside them.
