Magneto ripping the adamantium out of Logan was metal, no pun intended. That was incredible, definitely one of the greatest animation masterpieces Marvel has EVER done. I can't wait yo see how they bring it all together in part 3.

Some are calling this a complete character assassination of rogue going to magneto but like you said and i completely agree it works amazingly with this story and them actually having the balls to pull Wolverines adamantium from him? Fuck thats brutal and awesome

Yeah it narratively fits, so I don’t agree with the character assassination comments. And yeah I didn’t think we would ever see that moment fully realized in animation or film

I question if everyone switching sides actually IS switching sides. As I recall in the original story, people switched sides as a ruse.

After today’s episode I’m convinced Jean returns as Phoenix in the final episode undoing what Magneto did to the earth. All the hints have been there from constant mentioning of it, to being shown multiple times in the intro, and to Jean dismissing Madelyne powers with small Phoenixes on the astral plane in episode 3. Even Cable seem to have fire like raptor when his powers were activated against Jean. Love seeing her friendship shown between and Ororo❤️.

You posed the question “did Marvel make a mistake releasing this series before the X-Men reboot”? I think it is a brilliant move to not only gauge audience reaction to the material, but also serve as a blueprint of what to do and not do in the MCU. This show has been so well received. The only issue I have would be if they do not bring back Beau DeMayo. Unless he is a rapist, murderer or pedophlie , I am certain things can be worked out 😎

I will always disagree with Magneto's method's, but I will never disagree with his view of humanity. He's been in TWO genocides and that's not counting the multiple genocides he's only heard about humanity has enacted. Like, I get it. Humans are trash! We suck real hard sometimes. Especially once mob mentalities can overcome individualistic thought. We can be downright terrifying and he's never been wrong about us.

This show is prove what i have always known. Animation shouldnt be considered just for kids. It needs to be used to tell beautiful even complex stories. And here wesee the best ever xmen adaption. And its exactly that cause it isnt live action and is made with proper care

The show runner was there during the production of season 2 before he was let go. But yeah, he's probably plotted out a number of seasons with the writers beyond that.

The only way I think this can go is sending Xavier back in time. Everything went to shit when Xavier was gone, which was the whole point of One Man's Worth from the original show. Xavier is needed to guide the world.

In the comic Magneto was double pissed off because Xavier went in his mind and made him relive all his traumas(holocaust,losing his wife and babies,New Mutants) and then Logan gutting him.

I'm not that knowledgeable about Morph, but from what I've seen Morph can transform into anyone and even recreate the powers of those Morph is transforming, so couldn't Morph transform into Magneto and use his to undo what Magneto did to the Earth.

Magneto will be back. He is intergal to many classic storyline they might want to cover in future seasons. Age of Apocalypse. House of M. Etc.

@@darthdracul8372 it doesn't matter if he removed all the adamantium and hurt all his vital organs. He survived when a brainwashed Kitty Pride pierced his heart with a katana, when punisher runned him over with a steamroller, he survived a nuclear bomb explosion, he survived when Hulk torn him in half, also in Old Man Logan when Hulk eaten him alive, he wasn't instantly killed when along with Jean stucked in the remains of Asteroid M which reached the surface of the Sun (he was dying but lasted long enough for Phoenix to rise and save him) and finaly he survived when Nitro blew himself along with Wolverine, leaving only his adamantium skeleton and a tiny tissue in his head, from which he regenerated in no time

@@darthdracul8372 Oh and something few know, in WWI Wolverine defeated the Angel of Death, Lazaer, and with that he won the right to battle him again everytime he dies. His soul go to the Purgatory, he fights Lazaer and so far he always wins, so his soul could go back in his body and start the healing process. Yup, he's that broken

For the first time in my life, I talk to the tv. NOOOO NOoo Noooooo! And for the first time I was hoping the pause was commercial and come back to the show. ARGH!! How dare they end it there...Next week is going to hard.
