I had to skip the Krakoa stuff, just because I intend to read Hox Pox at some point, but this video's got me finally ready to read all the old X-Men comics I got on Comixology. Can't imagine Beau DeMayo really got fired because he has an OF. Like, who cares? It also seems insane that it would be because he didn't make X-Men '97 political, but there has to be something to that, since Disney is obsessed with towing the political line. I'm skipping the series myself but I like your points about the women in the team being emotional, and the arguments all being contextual vs ideological. It's a great distinction between why fans love Storm, Jean, Rogue, while loathing so many female characters of today.
