The thing I love about the 90's 2d fighters are that you know they are a labor of love with the detail they put into their sprites. I miss the 90's fighting game era.

This just proves that no matter what Marvel and Disney says or do, the X-Men (when it comes to teams) will always, and I mean ALWAYS be the A-Team of the Marvel Universe. And The Avengers, The Guardians, and Inhumans will be the B, C, and D teams. ...Don't get me wrong, I like all of them, but the X-Men (for me at least) have the best heroes, villains, and world building.

I hope Capcom releases a Marvel vs Capcom hd collection with online with good netcode. The games in the collection feature X-Men Children of the Atom, X-Men vs Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter, Marvel vs Capcom, and Marvel vs Capcom 2 for $30, $40, or $50 at most.

GOD DAMM IT. This is TORTURE. Epic music, epic gameplay from good old games, only to be dissapointed by the upcoming Marvel vs Capcom Infinite roster (among other things) These games need a re-release. Also, I want all Marvel Vs games remade with Guilty Gear engine (3D models and cool camera angles)

THICC Psylocke was the best, it's amazing how godlike the sprites were in this game considering it came out in 1994.

Up to this day X-Men #1 still has the guiness record for the highest selling comic book issue, and Capcom says we don't know who the X-Men are and that they're only functions, the hell with that. Not buying their Marvel game until the X family comes back.

Ahhh, the glorious times where the X-Men where still Marvel´s number 1 team, where Wolverine was equally to Spider-Man the flagship character of the company, where Storm and Psylocke where still sexy, where Omega Red, Silver Samurai and Spiral were still relevant villains, where Cyclops was treated by the company like an actual hero and where Iceman was still a ladie´s man instead of a forcefully turned gay man. Miss those times.

There is a cabinet of COTM that has been bouncing around the Kansas City area for decades, I played it at a pizza hut back when pizza hut was a dine-in place with juke-boxes and arcade cabs and shit, then I saw it at an arcade in Independence Missouri, then at a Cici's pizza in Independence, and I have not seen it since but I want to think it's still out there, at some mom and pop diner or something. I knew it was the same machine because of the markings on the cabinet, it had the control panel replaced once so it lost the overlay the cab came with over the years.

Omega Red vs Psylocke stuck in an abandoned Soviet Sub underwater (and Wolverine was there) was one of the more entertaining Xmen stories I read.

My man cyclops, I've only played this game and Xmen V SF a couple times at local arcades, but I immediately picked and love Cyclops, I wish him and Wolverine/Magneto made it into MVCI

I remember playing this game when I was 5 or 6, ON AN ARCADE POD! I played Psylocke and passed through each level until I fought Colossus. That was a great time in my life. +Maximilian Dood Hope you play Marvel Tribute for Marvel Legacy! It's an online game that's basically a tribute to Marvel with a Marvel Super Heroes roster. It has all the X-Men characters that were in the fighting games plus the rest of the Marvel characters that were in the old 2-D fighting games, including Blackheart!

This game and the first DarkStalkers blew me away with bar being for other stuff like ex and stuff and the magic series with air combos.
