Looks like a good product and well worth the price! Is there something similar that can monitor and alert you of low oxygen levels not just high carbon monoxide?

That's an interesting question. I know of plenty of devices that monitor air quality, etc, but they're measuring things like VOCs, not O2, per se.

Thank you for this information! I've been having nightmares about dying during my sleep due to carbon monoxide poisoning. Having this item should alleviate my anxiety.

Oh gosh, that's not good. You might call your local firestation; I believe they can come and test for carbon monoxide too, if you're concerned that your monitor doesn't work. Stay safe and remember that carbon monoxide is a heavy gas so you generally want your alarms and sensors lower down on the wall, not on the ceiling.

Im a little confused. every where it is sold like amazon , they are showing that it has a 5 Year Replacable battery. can you explain?

If so, the company must have changed its marketing and packaging. When I reviewed it, they were proud of their 10 year battery life.

I'm ready to order one. one more question, do the numbers on the display stay on all the time ? or does the display go blank after so many minuites.?
