i did everything but the oil and it still won’t work. i took apart the whole xbox and cleaned it good. is the oil very important or should i just buy a new connector

What oil did you use? My 2nd power supply got the red light and I'm gonna maybe try this then hope for the best

Hello GalacticTimeLord ,not sure why my comment are not posting,did you used the same sewing machine oil and of course one drop of oil enough,if you still. Get redlight check to see fan spining or not

Hi, @HKsystem i repaired my xbox 360 power supply brick just as mentioned in video. When I connected the power supply to xbox 360, it still showed the same error and did not turn on. The LED still shows red. What can I do now? Is there any way to fix this or should I do something else?

Hello ,you should check the fan to make sure it's not dead ( usually these fans are diehard ), if the fan is ok so there should be something else .not easy to guide you from here without checking the Power cord but I will do my best to help you out

@@HKsystem Just checked the power supply fan. I lost all my hope and thought it was time to buy a new power supply unit, until a miracle happened. I opened the brick, connected it to xbox 360 and power supply and it worked! There shouldn't be anymore problem with this. All thanks to you, you're a SAVIOUR!! ❤

Hello , the answer is NO , unfortunately those oils you mentioned will make it worse .

I opened my power supply brick and clean the fan properly ( I don't put any oil in it ) but when I turn on the xbox the orange light turns to red . I receiving this problem recently Any help/ suggestion 🙂

Hello , cleaning only won’t fix anything, do the same as video and use only one drop of Sewing machine oil that’s all
