The best part of going to Blockbuster or the local video store was the experience. The whole family would go get some snacks from the supermarket, order some pizza and browse the movies while waiting. I wish it was still a thing for my kids cause ordering a delivery and choosing something on Netflix doesn’t have the same magic.

The new LG G4 tv's have the XB app. I am replacing my 17 year old led with the g4, due to be delivered Monday and the app was featured in the video loop running on the set at Best Buy.😊

Anyone with any sense can see we are not quite there yet. But people will say hey, it makes money. Then complain that xbox is slowly focusing more and more on mobile and cloud.

Dropping a hell yeah for inverted. I'm pretty sure it was Star Fox that did it for me but I can't remember anymore. I'm still bummed that Xbox removed the system option to default all games to either inverted or standard. I loved not having to worry about it then they removed that option.

Rand it felt cool going to Blockbuster because it was like an event for a movie you wanted. That’s why I still prefer to go to GameStop to get my new games because it’s more rewarding to go somewhere, see gamers getting the same game as you, actually holding the case in your hands and seeing the front art cover and the back of the case on your way home.

Jez, try wasp & hornet insecticide. I had a similar problem in California, and I took care of the problem. It has now been 3 years since my last infestation. I use the Raid brand. Though, I suspect you can use any brand as long as it is a wasp & hornet kind.

I am super confused as to why everyone seems to forget that Playstation was also down 30% in hardware and reduced their output and projections 40% for the year. The market itself is struggling to sell hardware and it's not just xbox. So wierd.

thinking about the COD games coming to GP, I thought dumping them all at once would be a good idea but actually I think one a month is even better. It pushes the focus on just that one, the online will be super busy with players, some will stay with it but then everyone will jump to the new one that month and once their all on, people will still try a bunch of them, their favs but slowly adding will give those that didn't do so well, a big increase...also feel with all this stuff Xbox is doing they need another event. June showcase was all about games, I feel we need another event for a the xbox and what their doing, ABK welcome and future plans with those studios, surprises like Tony Hawk, Guitar hero reboot, talk about all your games being available via cloud, any subscription changes, the new xboxs coming in the holidays, any new controllers etc.

If the Xbox handheld is a Xbox console, there is one issue Microsoft needs to fix. Home console settings. Say I bought the Console and the Handheld, currently one of those devices are going to be forced to be always online due to how they handle the ownership check. Another issue being, a family couldn't share games on both systems with all family members in the household. If they do a Xbox Handheld that is just Xbox, the handheld will need to be it's own "home handheld", not a "home console" or there is not reason to buy both.

Hell yea! Inverted is the best. Flight games mimic actual plane controls where you pull back on the stick to raise the nose of the plane. I never had a concussion. Sorry.

Seem like all the companies in gaming keep wanting more growth. Wonder if they consider that all the people that want to play games already are. The pandemic made a lot of people that didn't game start gaming and as soon as they could go back outside they stopped gaming . Maybe that it and the number of gamers in the world just doesn't go past a certain amount . Cause if the pandemic doesn't keep non gaming people gaming . How is a amazon fire stick with gp and a tv with gp or steaming gonna do anything.

Flight games aside, inverted is terrible. When I want to look up, it makes intuitive sense to move the right thumbstick...up. Not move it in the exact opposite direction you want to look. If the face buttons were inverted, the shoot button would jump and the jump button would shoot and all the weirdos would cheering for it.

It's entirely your right to ask for the podcast to get released as segments, but you'd be able to bounce around whatever you don't feel like hearing by waiting for the good Timestamp guy in the comment section. Dude always seems to have them up within a couple hours of the show ending.
