what if klaus just modeled the blades after random 3d models that happened to be on the computer, and that happened to include a xenosaga rom

I have a theory that Kos-Mos:Re was likely the prototype for Blade technology before the event. They were possibly testing 3d physical projection technology and the main developer is Shion, meaning she wanted to rebuild Kos-Mos in this new form with Kos-Mos' original U-Do generator. If this is the case Kos-Mos:Re's Core Crystal is actually her own miniature Aegis Core and she is canonically the fourth Aegis with T-Elos being quite possibly the 5th.

The idea of all the Xeno universes coming together and actually forming some version of Perfect Works would be absolutely amazing, but trying to wrap my head around all of the lore would be as equally difficult. But if it means that the cast of Xenogears and Xenosaga will get their time in the sun I'm all for it.

Why am I so hyped by Luxin's theories in this video, despite knowing barely anything about Xenosaga?

This video is making me think of so many possibilities. For starters, I just thought of the theory that aegis cores could be like Zohar emulators. Correct me if I’m wrong but the emulators gets there power from the vessels of animus and Zohar right. This is similar to the aegis cores drawing in power from the conduit. They are even used to reset the universe in the same way. For example, wilhiem using them in the machine in the end to reset the universe again, and klaus using them to try and create a new universe that fails. It makes me think that the reason klaus’s experiment wasn’t perfect was due to him not possessing all the components they need like in xenosaga part 3. It’s just crazy to think about these possible outcomes that could of happen. (Note that it’s been a long time since I played xenosaga, so this could be all wrong)

Shion and the others rebuild her after the game, this is the reason it´s stated 4770 . This is not the patch up work from the 3rd game, it´s a complettly new build.

I was able to learn about a lot of KOS-MOS and T-Elos' skills thanks to Project X Zone 1 and 2.

The ver. 6 is based off the name off her armor equipment which counts as her body. Originally started as D Unit V-1 and then ended at D Unit V-6.

I know this is late but regarding where KOS-MOS was developed, it was likely on Second Miltia. According to the wiki, Vector 1st R&D used to be in charge of administering the UMN before that was transferred to the government. The UMN headquarters are in Second Miltia, which is where Shion's family lives after leaving Old Miltia and that is also where Vector 2nd R&D is, too. So, I think it is safe to say that KOS-MOS was developed within the 1st R&D labs probably located on Second Miltia. The startup tests that were being done on the Woglinde at the beginning of the first game were held there because they loaded up the project onto the ship as part of the fleet operation to recover the Zohar emulator but that wasn't their permanent laboratory. The flashbacks with Kevin take place on the surface of a planet, too.

After coming back to this with playing Saga and Gears, this all is blowing my mind again. When you brought up universes merging, and what we know abt Blade 3 atm, it is suddenly SIGNIFICANTLY more likely the Saga and Blade universes were tied together through shenanigans.

Xenosaga is my favourite series of all time, so I've had a lot of these thoughts when playing through Xenoblade 2; The space elevator stuff, eternal recurrence shenanigans, etc. If they actually manage to merge the franchises in some way, I'll be absolutely blown away.

I believe the world's are indeed connected just distant. as the ending implies and the events in XC2. the Titans merge with the real land below. the art work of Kosmos falling down to the tree is also very interesting

After Xenoblade 3 FR and looking back how it happens out of order as. With some dialogue on Queen[ Melia]’s anniversary being her 25th on the dawn of Aionios happened, so 25 years after Future Connected, meaning 26 years after Xenoblade 1 and 2. Xenosaga Episode 3 likely overlaps with the 7(?) second interval of Aionios given how that has Alpha and Omega’s fight run parallel. And Xenosaga 1-3 takes place over the course of 2 different years. Meaning KOS-MOS in Xenoblade 2 predates Xenosaga KOS-MOS by 24-25 years.

The Image Theme of Xenosaga 2 is sooooo good. I enjoyed all of Xenosaga, but found Episode 2 to be a disappointment. The scope and tone of everything shifted so drastically but my lord, the music was incredible.

Man I wish I knew anything about Xenosaga to understand these words he’s throwing around. I know a bit about KOS-MOS and the Zohar but that’s about it.

I've been thinking the entire time, even before the reveal at Chapter 10 about the history of Alrest, that Alrest was Lost Jerusalem due to KOS-MOS Re being her Japanese name. It would make sense only if a previous model of KOS-MOS was found before. And I don't necessarily think the eternal reoccurance thing is bad necessarily- At least, to an extent. You now have the set up for a plot where your characters learn about this cycle and seek a chance to break it.

Really do hope Xenoblade 3 has more Kos-Mos content. I can see a questline with Astelle’s descendant that they’re working out some early model Astelle might’ve done when she was grown up. And that perhaps we could help upgrade this non-machina machine person like we did with Poppi. Maybe a separate but similar character to Kos-Mos for copyright reasons but there are hints or maybe even an actual scene showing the real Kos-Mos is still out there.

I haven't completed Any Xenoblade game (though I'm decently far in 2) but this theory you have? I LOVE IT. I would LOVE if KOS-MOS made it into Xenoblade 1 and Xenosaga gets the reboot it DESERVES. I don't know if it it'll happen, and realistically speaking, I don't see it happening. But if it did? I would shit bricks. xD

17:25- this is probably not canonically viable now, considering the confirmation of the 2 worlds being separate (and being more damaged by Klaus’s experiment than we thought), but this would be a fantastic fanfic. I hope someone gets on that.

While I can't say for sure that there was any sort of implied connection between Mary and Meyneth, I DO know that, yes, Mary and Meyneth DO talk to each other in Project X Zone 2. KOS-MOS and Fiora both realize that them talking was getting them nowhere, so they both let Mary and Meyneth talk (at least, I think KOS-MOS willingly does so.) Fiora is explicitly pulled from the teleport on Mechonis, because she states she was just teleporting and wasn't expecting where she ended up to look the way it did. I'd... Try the game, but my shoulder buttons don't work, and while not necessary for playing the game, they DO help. A lot.

It would be super cute if the Hakase factory refers to the Hakase from Nichijou as she is also quite versed at building Androids. (Yes I know Nichijou has nothing to do with Xenosaga)

My theory is klaus screwed up the timeline by creating a new universe. Wilhelm tried to still bring the universal recurrence into fruition. But the timeline changed too much. First the xenogears zohar modifier is a failed zohar emulator that traped the wave existence. Kosmos lands on earth is repaired by klaus who see humanity is still in space. He makes kos-mos into a blade but telos split from her during the fall because possibly their fusion was unstable. Klaus rebuilds them both as blades. The earth's restoration is only the first step in saving the universe. I imagine all the heroes meet and then fight against some sorta lavos/unicron being. (Unicron is from the transfomers and is a multiverse devouring chaos bringer). And episode 6 of perfect works is complete.

Xenosaga and Xenoblade are alternate universes, but things seem to be able to pass between universes in the Xeno series, that's probably their explanation for why KOS-MOS appears in Xenoblade 2. Also if you want the lore behind Xenosaga I suggest you watch Loading Gears' lore videos on it's lore. Then again you should also spend a lot of time on the Wiki to find out a lot of the answers to the questions you brought up here. Xenosaga's Earth disappeared in a similar manner to what happened to it in Xenoblade, but it was more akin to what happened to Ariadne and Miltia where it was sent to a pocket dimension, though it wasn't gnosified like Ariadne was, I'm thinking that happened because that experiment was done with an Emulator. Also the Zohar experiment that caused earth to vanish was headed by Grimoire Verum and it used his daughter Nephilim to communicate with UDO, she had the same condition Shion has. This experiment is also why Nephilim and Grimoire were entities that exist in the UMN. So there actually are 6 versions that KOS-MOS goes through in the story 1. The one that kills Kevin (on the planet Carioca) 2. Xenosaga 1 3. Xenosaga 2 4. Xenosaga a Missing Year (Blink and you'll miss it) 5. First half of Xenosaga 3 6. Second half of Xenosaga 3 I do think at some point Monolith soft will want to intertwine the canon for Gears and Saga into the Blade series, but I don't think Future Connected will do much beyond linking Xenoblade 1 and 2 together if not stating both worlds were merged. I'm more interested in seeing what they do for the next Xenoblade game and I'm going to bet we'll get info on it later this year or sometime next year. A Xenoblade game has pretty much come out a year to two years after the last one since X at this point so I'm expecting an announcement for Xenoblade 3 or a Xenoblade X port fairly soon.
