Hey guys, sorry for pinning this comment on all videos but I want to give you an update on the channel. I've been slowly adding a show archive to the videos including a full transcript added as sub titles and a full track listing (with links to KZfaq videos for each track). I've always loved this one. The pair of them goading Karl into calling up, then he destroys Steve over the phone. Brilliant.

I love how Ricky just says something and then goes “that’s libelous” as though it’ll cover him legally 😂

this is easily one of my favourite episodes, ricky getting angrier and angrier throughout the episode and the ridiculous lengths they go to like leaving the entire show on his phone as a message and giving out his phone number one at a time is so funny. and the climax with karl calling through and insulting steve is a top 5 moment of the XFM shows for me

In episode 18, when Karl mentions that he's going to buy his parents passports for Christmas, Steve asks "you don't got to buy a passport, have you? Isn't that your god given right as an Englishman?" He actually should have paid attention and listened to Karl that day.

This time around the carousel I decided to listen to the Claire shows, they are actually really good, wish I had given her a chance earlier.

Karl phoning in sick is such an iconic moment! So many great lines.

Wow the inception of one the greatest sitcoms and the story behind it! It's great to hear these shows in retrospect when Ricky and Steve were creating Extras, The Office (American version) etc.

the section at 39:52 onward has to be one of the all time great moments of this show

I love how even on a sick-day Karl can make the effort to call in and insult Steve!! "'E'S DONE YOU AND E'S NOT EVEN 'ERE!!"

The best episode of XFM ever. Absolutely genius from start to finish this ep.

I think there should be a feature for when every time you click away from listening to one of these shows Gervais’ voice comes on and goes “you turned it off?!”

Karl says “it had a normal voice” as a dig against Steve’s accent, but the greatest thing is the fact the alien in the film doesn’t even HAVE any dialogue.

"Have you seen it Steve? There's this thing in it..." Lol.

I often open my KZfaq and spend ages scrolling through all my subscriptions looking for something to watch/listen to, before finally circling back around to this twaddle. ❤

I really don't get all the hate for Steve... His jokes are always excellent as well.

Ricky's disdain for Karl in this show is surely routed in his love for him, how dare Karl miss a show with Ricky! I personally think Ricky was heartbroken he didn't get to see him that Saturday :P xD
