The Mark II is waterproofed. The Mark I is not. The problem with either is that if you get a copy that develops the battery problem after a couple of months you ain't getting it fixed or your money back.

The big difference is the waterproof rating. The Pace *cannot* be used in the pool or even in the shower. The Stratos can be used for diving down to 50m.

Using pace from 16 months, tried everywhere, rain, shower, pool I found no problem at all , this watch is extremely good, I feel that it will never die, I am wearing it 24-7.

hey there :) i like both the pace and the stratos but could you please tell me a bit about what are the main differences between the two devices in the fields of running-training plans? how many training profiles are there or can i customize them? as a girl with smaller wrist the stratos can be a bit big? thanks for helping me :)

I unfortunately don't have them on me anymore, but here is the manual for it, has lots of good info with pictures about the profiles: en.amazfit.com/pdf/manuals/Amazfit%20Stratos%20User%20Manual.pdf As for sizing I think it should be ok, you may want to get one of those magnetic straps for it, which might be hard to find, you might be able to just get away with it, but can't say for sure Hope this helps

Thats not an e ink Display on the Stratos, is it? E ink wouldn't be able to change frames so smoothly.

Only Stratos is waterproof down to 50m (about 30m in reality)

I bought pace and it's really cool, but heart rate sensor is really terrible, in training mode it shows heart heart about 15-20 points higher, then real one. Does Stratos use the same sensor? I hope, it's just this virsion firmware problem.

IMHO you should avoid both smart watches and definitely stay away from gearbest. I bought Xiaomi Pace from gearbest in September 2017 for 112$ and I really enjoyed it. But in February 2018 the watch stopped charging. I tried cleaning the charging ports, but nothing worked. So, I contacted gearbest, explained the whole thing and they refunded me 25$ 😕. Stratos and Pace use the same charging system. TLDR: Charging system used by both Stratos and Pace lasted less than 6 month in my case and gearbest is a rip-off.

Used my PACE for over a year and never had a problem. And by "used" I mean I have over 300 activities for over 250 hours. This thing worked flawlessly for me.

You should know the risk of ordering in China. Sometimes there's simply nothing you can do. On the other hand you get newest China tech for less and earlier.

GearBest is not the best place to order China made goods. I rather order from AliExpress where various assurance is much better. Anyway, Stratos is good. I decided to order from local dealer for 1 yr warranty ($10 more exp.) after reading about battery problem in Pace, due mainly to water seeping in. Hopefully Stratos does not have the same problem as it does not have mic & better water proof.

How do you get information that Pace has gorilla glass? Most likely there is only tempered glass. As for Stratos, it was supposed to be more expensive with a leather strap and sapphire glass, but they canceled it, leaving only the 'scratch-resistant 2.5D Corning Gorilla glass' model.
